  • Views are amazing

"This place is amazing, the views are breath taking. My friends and I have booked this place two years in a row, fit 6 of us comfortably. There was a huge snow storm when we went last time and they had our drive way shoveled out so we could leave. Close enough to pop down to the lodge and go skiing. There are just a few down falls:Not the most up to date decor, but its comfy. The pool table is a bit worn out and the giant tub runs out of hot water before you can fill it up."

  • Was exactly as pictured - comfortable and cozy! Excellent location for hikers.

"This little cabin is perfect for those who like to hike the mountains but don't want to camp. The Appalachian Trail intersects right at the bottom of the driveway. Crabtree Falls is just a few miles away along. While we didn't hike, it was still a perfect location for me to photograph the falls, and we loved exploring the suspension bridge on the Appalachian Trail. The house was clean, had everything you needed including wonderful views, wifi (there is NO cell service in this area with Verizon), satellite tv, and dog friendly! The exterior settings of this cabin were just as nice as inside - loved the campfire seating area, enjoyed dinner on the porch picnic table and destressed in the rocking chair. There is a Food Lion about 15-20 minutes from the cabin - we brought breakfast supplies the first night after figuring out we didn't want to drive that far for each meal. Great communication from the owner - let us know that a routine power outage would be happening during our stay which I really appreciated. Bottom-line, this is a great spot to just chill or as a basecamp for exploring the George Washington National Forest - we ended up mixing a little of both."
