  • Like being in Williamsburg!

"My husband and I spent 3 nights at Lawers Row Loft and had a wonderful time. The owner was very helpful and accomodating in every way. The space is perfect for two and the ambiance is so peaceful and historic. The next door neighbor was so kind and helpful as well. We visited several sites in the area and had great breakfasts in town! We sincerely enjoyed our stay and hope to return for another visit!"

  • Awesome Getaway Cabin

"Great little getaway cabin!! It was very clean, charming, and tastefully decorated. The kitchen is well equipped, the bed was comfy. It's quiet, peaceful and relaxing, nothing but you and nature. If you're looking to get away from all the day to day stress, I highly recommend Lazy Creek Cabin. You will be stress free from the moment you walk through the cabin door. Thank you Jim and Jane for providing such an awesome getaway."

  • AMAZING

"the overall visit was FANTASTIC the TV was not operational for DVDs - but it gave us some real family time to play board games which was much more entertaining . trails were fantastic. everyone LOVED the stay and the area. couple small suggestions : upgrade the water heater (larger) we had 6 and taking showers was shift assigned replace TV internet was unstable (had to reset it every hour or so if we wanted to use it which we did not often (kids did- lol) but like I said all in all a very relaxing and Amazing adventure. would recommend the Hawks Nest to anyone interested in a simple getaway with comfort."

  • A gem in the rough - the rough being Bucchan

"For a house built back in 1870, I was impressed how well it has been maintained. The owners have added all modern conveniences and each room is nicely decorated with paintings, etc. The kitchen has all needed utensils, plates, cups, glasses and spices which is a real plus since Bucchan does not overflow with places to eat (especially on a Sunday evening). The beds were comfortable as well as the furniture. I found everything to my liking and highly recommend it."
