  • Kentigern is heaven.

"Kentigern is a wonderful home. And I say home not house. As soon as you enter you just feel so comfortable. Everything you need is there. There were 8 of us. All adults. The place is big enough that everyone could have their own space if needed. Unfortunately we had much rain and wind, but we made the most of it by doing a puzzle, listening to music and cooking, eating and making cocktails. We did get a few walks on the beach in between the rain drops .Our last full day there was spent finally kayaking and BBQ ing.Our group has been coming to Peggy s from a few years now and we are never disappointed. I only wish we lived a little closer. 5 hrs drive from NJ. We would definitely come more often."

  • Lovely Cottage. Had a Great Time.

"My family and I had a delightful long weekend at this cottage in August 2016. Tall Timbers, the community where the cottage is located, is a charming 1920s-era collection of vintage vacation houses on the north bank of the Potomac. We found the cottage, the community and the neighbors to be wonderful. The house is as shown in the listing photos, and is right on the water. The property was clean, and all amenities and utilities functioned fine. Communication with the owners was excellent. My kids loved messing about in the water on the large inflatable raft provided. We adults were happy with the short drive to St. Mary's City (15 mins.) and Point Lookout, which has a great dog beach (30 mins.). There are two restaurants very close by (less than 5 mins. by car), and another about 10 mins. away. We fully intend to come back and are happy to recommend this cottage to anyone."

  • Beautiful home on a beautiful setting!

"We stayed here the week of Aug. 20-27, 2016 for our annual family vacation. Our group of 9 ranged in ages from 2 - 76. The house is clean and beautifully decorated. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out for alone/quiet time or all be together to laugh and play games. The property is situated on a creek to the back of the house, which was excellent for crabbing. The pier out front on the river was perfect for fishing. We had a wonderful time swimming in the pool, canoeing in the creek, playing air hockey/pool, and taking our boat out tubing and fishing. If you want to get away from all the stress of everyday life, this is the perfect place. Very quiet and relaxing. Would highly recommend!!!"

  • Gorgeous House Along the Chesapeake

"We had a beautiful stay over Thanksgiving. The cabin is immaculately decorated, clean and equipped with most everything you'll need for meals at home. The beach easily accessible, just across the street (through a neighbor's yard). It's a gorgeous expanse of sand and water. We walked up and down it every night, then detoured through the woods for a walk through the forest. The leaves were still in full fall foliage mode, so the walks were breathtaking. We'd definitely recommend the house to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway, far from the hustle bustle. So far, in fact, that it takes about 35-45 minutes to get to a reasonable grocery store, so be sure to stock up either before you go or on a special shopping day during your stay. Thanks, Peggy!"
