  • Beautiful location, charming/clean farm house, and super friendly hosts

"We loved our stay at the Travelers Rest farm host. The historical farm house has plenty of charm, but you're still connected withi Wifi if needed. The farm itself is beautiful, and the Agnes, the host was responsive leading up to the visit, and super friendly in-person. We'll definitely be returning for some horseback riding."

  • Couldn't ask for more!

"We came to Beau River for our Community Group retreat and couldn't have asked for more. The house was perfect! Tom and Debbie were helpful and responded quickly, before and during when we had questions. The house has a great lay out to spread out between rooms - there was something for everyone! Thank you so much!!! We will definitely be back."

  • wonderful home right on the Bay

"This house is exactly as it is described. You have a view from the bay from everywhere in the home except for the bathrooms and closets. It was a great spot for three moms and four kids to spend a week together...swimming on the beach, kayaking, playing croquet, sitting around a campfire, relaxing in the hammock, watching wildlife (dolphins, osprey, frogs, toads, turtles). We had a great time and Bill was very responsive and helpful in answering questions. Bill also worked with us on a last minute change of plans when we ended up not needing the guest house...thank you for that! The highlight of my trip was having a dolphin swim past me while kayaking. There were plenty of beach toys for the kids to play with and the home was equipped with everything we needed. We took a day trip to Tangier Island one day and enjoyed that. The home is in a pretty remote location, so if you're up for relaxing, this is the place for you."

  • Exceeded Expectations - Perfect Spacious House with Lots of Fun Amenities

"We stayed for 7 night at this wonderful home. Our kids enjoyed the kayaks, crab pots, ping pong, movies, pool, fishing and more. We played tennis on the local courts and rode our bikes that we brought all around this quaint, adorable town. So much fun stuff to do. This house is much bigger than the pictures depict. We did a lot of cooking and baking and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The pool was fantastic, again, bigger than expected. The porch was ideal for watching sunsets and the dock was fun to play with minnows and fish from. Many of our friends with homes in Deltaville came to visit and they also were extremely impressed with the house. You won't find much if anything like this in Deltaville. It is nicely refreshed and renovated with pretty decorations and nautical/sailboat themes. The kids loved the rec room. You could easily kayak to a small sandy island. We hope to rent again next year, for sure. This is a fantastic find!!"
