  • Beautiful and Serene Surroundings

"We enjoyed this vacation sooo much! The house is just lovely, well furnished, comfy beds, view of cove from inside and the porch is amazing. Our whole family enjoyed kayaking, canoeing and paddleboarding, which were at the house. We all really liked the outdoor shower, felt so good on those hot humid days. Everything is here, books, puzzles, condiments, basics for cooking, music system, outdoor grill, and spectacular star gazing from the field in front of the home, no ambient light here Also, the beach at the end of the cove is just lovely, we so enjoyed our splashabouts there.. We would not hesitate to stay here again. On our last evening, we drove 30 minutes north and had a great dinner at The Island House in Wachapregue."

  • Great Mini-Vacation

"Seven of us stayed here for a weekend to attend a family reunion. We enjoyed the spacious, clean house, modern kitchen and the quiet privacy of the area. The dock to the water was very nice although the weather was uncooperative during our visit. The owner was most pleasant and easy to work with."

"This is a lovely home - perfectly laid out! It is beautiful and comfortable. Brad is great at communication - always answering every question quickly. The home is stocked with kitchen trash bags, dish soap, dishwasher soap, hand soaps in the bathrooms, so you need not bring those things. There are 2 Weber kettle charcoal grills, and 4 beach chairs, and 9 adult bikes! Cape Charles is a lovely little town. We have been here many times. I think The PInnacle is our favorite place to stay so far - it was perfect for our family. The golf courses are my husband's favorites. The golfers have enjoyed eating at the Coach House Tavern, which is just a 5 minute walk from the Pinnacle. And the community pools are a bonus - they always seem to be very quiet and uncrowded with lots of lounge chairs, and there is a baby pool. There nice places to eat out in Cape Charles - had great sandwiches at Dead Rise Pies, and wonderful lunch and dinner at the Oyster Farm, and dinner at the Shanty. Of course, Brown Dog ice cream is a must, and an easy walk from the public beach. On previous visits we have eaten at the Pub and enjoyed it. Thank you, Brad! Our little get away was wonderful!"
