  • Great stay for a large group!

"We had a great stay at this Sandbridge home. The owners were very helpful and made sure when we had a question to respond quickly. The pool was perfect and the location was great. Literally a 5 minute walk to the beach. Never once did that area of beach feel crowded. The kitchen was well stocked to accommodate all of our needs. The Sandbridge Market was a hit with our fellow travelers. Very fresh and reasonable. Thanks for sharing your slice of heaven with us."

  • Amazing Family Vacation in a beautiful home!

"We had a wonderful stay at Great Escape! My party included 6 adults and a 1 year old. The grounds were well kept and the inground pool in the backyard was clean and amazing.. we were in that pool several times a day every day! The beach was a very easy walk.. and remember i had a 1 year old in tow! The beach its self was beautiful, not rocky at all... though at night lots of crabs on the beach.. made for lots of fun trying to catch them! Tara (the owner) was amazing to deal with.. very responsive.. while we had no issues during our stay.. any time i had to contact her prior to our vacation i always had a response within hours. Home is huge, we had bedrooms we didn't even use! My family enjoyed also using the kayaks in the canal which were a blast. Very much recomend this property..we will very likely be back in the future!"

  • Can't Imagine A Better Place To Stay!!

"Our family stayed in this condo in September, 2014, when it was under different management. I cannot say enough about what a great place it is! Parking allowed for two vehicles. The owner's storage space in the first floor garage was full of helpful items for the beach (chairs, umbrella, toys, nets, kite, small boogie boards . . . ) as well as a luggage dolly we found useful for hauling our bags up to the condo. The condo is the closest one to the stairwell that leads to the beach. The door to the building can only be opened from the outside by a card issued at check-in. The layout of the condo was perfect for us. On the side farthest from the entry door is a huge master bedroom with an incredible bath. Our son and his wife and their then one-year-old son stayed in that room and there was plenty of room for their pack-n-play with lots of space left over. It has a door to the balcony. The middle of the condo holds the kitchen w/huge island. The only thing we could have used was more containers for leftovers. The dining room and living room flow from the kitchen in an open floor plan. We had plenty of seats at the table, and the living room had a sectional and some additional chairs. Upon entering the condo, there is one bedroom w/bath on the left. A hall to the right has a bathroom on the left across from a bedroom with bunk beds. A washer and drier were in a closet down the hall and a bedroom with a large bed and private bath was at the end. Sliding glass doors off the living room open onto a wonderful wrap-around balcony with patio furniture. Part of it overlooks the beach and we watched dolphins swimming multiple days. The wrap-around has a view of the Back Bay. The condo is on the southeast side of the building and here is no other housing south of the building. The property abuts a small park area and a fisherman's pier juts out into the ocean about a quarter of a mile from the building. Beyond that, there is more beach and undeveloped property for a ways until a high permanent fence marks the beginning of a wildlife sanctuary and state park. Beyond that, the beach is off limits. The fisherman's pier offers fishing at the far end, and there is a charge if you go past a certain point on the pier. We were there from 9/29-10/4, but we were able to be in the water the whole time. We found many types of shells, especially at low tide. The beach wasn't crowded, and the people were friendly. The condo and beach were wonderful!"
