  • A History Lover's Dream Vacation

"We have traveled the world over, and I don't believe we have ever stayed at a more enjoyable property. The cottage was everything that we had hoped for: Clean, quiet, well-appointed, quaint, and private. The owners went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything we needed for a great vacation. Their foresight and effort in providing information and amenities is truly remarkable, and it made a good vacation even better. Yorktown is a historic and charming village with extraordinarily friendly people. In addition, the cottage is located within the Yorktown Battlefield and minutes from the Colonial Parkway, a relaxing and scenic route that provides easy access to Colonial Williamsburg and Jamestown."

  • Perfect location and charming condo

"We just returned from our stay at No Worries, Be Happy condo in Virginia Beach. The condo was very clean, well decorated, spacious, and steps away from the ocean. We've stayed in other vacation rentals that weren't that great and this condo was definitely top notch for the cleanliness and decor. I like that there were drapes on the windows that could be closed, the furniture was comfortable, and there was plenty of room to spread out. The beds were comfortable and the shower had fantastic water pressure; a must have while at the beach. In addition to options for linens provided, there were beach chairs provided, and a grill for cookouts. Every need is thought of and it showed during our stay. The welcome email from the owner was very detailed about to bring for the stay, but if you forgot there were several stores very close by and chances our you didn't need it. The location is amazing for great restaurants and shops. We tried several of the recommendations that were posted on the fridge of places eat, one being a Triple D spot, and were not disappointed. The beach was wonderful! Not crowded, actually not even busy, which is great. We setup and just enjoyed the sun and calm waves for most of the weekend. While you can't see the ocean from the condo, the short walk more than made up for it. The street where the house is located is very quiet so no worries with kids crossing the street. The whole area was residential, rather than the big high-rise hotels, making it very family friendly. I would highly recommend staying at this condo while visiting either Norfolk or Virginia Beach as it's almost in the middle."

  • Better than the pictures......Virginia Beach, had a great time during Hurricane Mathews !

"We came up to Virginia Beach for a wedding , as did Hurricane Mathews (the un- expected guess). We had a great time visiting family we hadn't seen for years. We loved the house, we felt at home from the moment we walked in. It is better in person than in pictures, super clean. We met the neighbors, and their dogs, very nice people, good , quiet location. We met Phil, ....very nice gentleman, treated us as family. Loved the back yard. We would definitely come back and stay here again. Thank you Debbie and your family, for allowing us to share your home. ps. we enjoyed picking the fresh figs from the tree at front, and had them for breakfast each morning. thank you. The Encio family."
