  • Very clean and great location

"My family of four along with our beagle stayed for our spring break week. We had a wonderful and very relaxing stay. Such a nice change from staying in the crowded boardwalk area of VA Beach. We felt like we had the whole beach to ourselves! Great location and friendly neighborhood. The beach was just a short walk from the house... close enough to come back and forth while we were on the beach to grab food or use the bathroom. The house had everything we needed and Kara was great. We will definitely rent again."

"Very quiet, private on dead end st but plenty of parking for a full size van, very family friendly area in chics beach. All amenties were newer, clean and good working order, Peatrice offers a nice place to stay that's 2 blocks from the beach and restaurants."

  • Very nice beach vacation!

"My husband, 3 young sons, and I spent a week in your condo recently and truly enjoyed ourselves. The condo itself was large, clean and well-stocked with kitchen items, w/d, towels, etc. The balcony had a nice view of the pool, and Sandbridge beach was cleaner & quieter than in the city of VA Beach, but still had lifeguards present and a playground in walking distance. Our boys (and we) loved using our boogie boards in the surf! The pool was well-kept and the perfect size/depth for our family (3-5 feet). Slight drawbacks (but not deal-breakers) were uncomfortable beds in the 2nd bedroom (king size was very comfy), and the longer distance from a good selection of restaurants and shopping. However, we did make a larger grocery trip for the week at Food Lion on Sandbridge Rd (15 min drive) and loved the food/service at AJ Gator's restaurant next to that. Do not waste your time/money at the Cabana bar downstairs at the Sanctuary however. We spent $100 on mediocre food for 5 people (1 of those was off the kids' menu) and the service was very slow! That was by far our most expensive meal of the entire week, and that includes our stop in Washington DC on the drive home. There were plenty of good chain and non-chain restaurants though within reasonable driving distance. Plus, we ate all our breakfasts and 3 dinners at "home." We didn't use the grills downstairs (many people did), but the kitchen worked great for us. Also within an hour or less drive that we enjoyed were a bus tour of the naval station, the USS Wisconsin museum, the Virginia Living museum, the VA aquarium, and the boardwalk in VA Beach. We wanted to go to Busch Gardens, but rain threatened - that is a 1.5-2 hour drive, traffic dependent. Overall, it was a beautiful week and we loved using your condo has a home base, and would recommend it to others. Thank you!"
