  • Great Under Adversity

"Our group came to Sandbridge the extremely rare week it rained 15 inches. Schools were closed, some roads were blocked, and many restaurants closed too. Sewers were backed up.... challenging. The ground floor of Great Escape was a bit soaked when we arrived. Tara was extremely helpful and accommodating to give our group the best possible experience, with fans, dehumidifier, even permission to move mattresses upstairs. We had a wonderful time, loving the beach, witnessing a beautiful wedding on the beach the same weekend, taking turns cooking gourmet meals, building a 3-D puzzle that was in the closet (it took days to complete), enjoying the kayaks off the dock and in the ocean. Despite the challenges, we DEFINITELY look forward to future visits to Great Escape and Sandbridge. Tara deserves highest marks for her responsiveness, great communication, and going the extra mile under adversity."

  • Beautiful Views

"Had a fabulous long weekend in this beautiful condo with amazing views! The condo is beautifully decorated, comfortable and well appointed. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need. Leetsa was lovely to deal with and we would highly recommend staying here again!"

  • Large Family home close to the beach. Wonderful stay!

"I rented this place from October 7, 2016 to October 10, 2016 for a mixed gender bachelorette party. This place was absolutely perfect and we felt right at home. Large kitchen, living room and family room. 3 large bedrooms, 2 queen beds, and 2 sets of bunk beds. If you are having all adults stay i suggest you bring blowup mattresses if you do not want to climb in and out of bunk beds. Other great amenities are 3 full bathroom, towels and sheet provided, and there is a washer and dryer. The kitchen is also fully stocked with pots, pans, toaster, toaster oven, dish washer. You do have to provide your own soup, dishwasher soap, toiletries, etc. I would recommend this place to any close friend or family member, I would also love to come back to this place one day hopefully in the near future. The owners were very accommodating and helpful. Filomena came to the house when we first got there to make sure we were okay and to see if we needed anything. She checks up on you often and is very welcoming. They also provide you with great information about what is in the area, coupons for stores near by, and free WIFI. The only downside to the weekend is that we happened to be there during hurricane Mathew so the weather was not great and we lost power for a full 24 hours. The roof by the skylight and the light by the front door started leaking water inside from the torrential down pour and winds. Because of the weather and the power outage Filomena and Lee were very accommodating and did everything they could to make are stay more comfortable."

  • Nice Unit, but Noisy

"This unit itself was very nice. Everything is updated, and laid out nicely. With this unit however, be aware that even though you are set back from Atlantic a bit, the front bedroom will still get quite a bit of road noise, and if your neighbors are using the stairs, those doors slam, and slam loudly. Parking can be interesting here. There is very limited parking, with majority of it underneath the building."
