  • Welcoming, comfortable family home

"Our family of 2 adults and 2 kids stayed here for 3 months while our home construction finished. What a wonderful treat it was! The home is so comfortable - beautiful open kitchen and living space, huge master bedroom suite, great play area for the kids, and we even got to teach the kids how to play ping pong. The neighborhood was lovely, with quick walks to Norwood Park or the playground on the corner. The street ends on a beautiful walking trail. Neighbors were super friendly and even welcomed us to their annual block party. My children spent hours on the swing outside. Our hosts were very accessible and accomodating, and very easy to work with. We were lucky to have found such a great spot!"

  • A Great Stay for a Great Vacation!

"I stayed here for about 4 nights with a large group. It was absolutely great. Very clean and spacious. Even though there were a lot of people all around you still felt that you got your privacy quietness that you wanted. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had heated floors and a jacuzzi tub! The kitchen was nice with all things you need to cook and eat there. They also had a dishwasher and washing machines. The condo was near the Metro station and other convenient stores such as CVS and Safeway, all were walkable from the condo. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone staying in the DC area!"

  • Beautiful home in a fantastic location

"This is a beautiful home, just as nice as the pictures and recently completely rehabbed so it's basically a brand new home in a historic shell. The decor is soothing, the beds are comfortable and the furniture is stylish and high end. There are actually THREE bathrooms - an ensuite with shower in the master, a tub/shower combo shared by the two remaining bedrooms, and a powder room on the main floor. There are two TV's - one in the living room and one in the master bedroom. We stayed for four nights with our young children (ages 1 and 4) and found the layout ideal - we were able to put the kids to bed each evening and then entertain our local friends with dinner and wine in the beautiful kitchen/dining area. (We ordered pizza one night from We The Pizza and it was great, the other nights we cooked.) It really felt like a home, not an impersonal hotel room. The management company was easy to work with and when we had an issue (one of the bathrooms sinks had a small leak that caused some drips the first night of our stay), they came out and took care of it right away. The location is perfect if you are in DC to sightsee; Union Station is a few minutes away. Instacart will deliver from Whole Foods, Safeway and other stores, and Walmart and CVS are walkable. There is a small grocery with most basics across the street, as well as an amazing wine shop. Getting cabs and Ubers was easy. Note that the third bedroom is very tiny, such that the closet doors cannot open when the trundle is pulled out. It was great for our 1-year-old (she just slept on the trundle) and would be good for two kids or a single adult but would probably be a tough situation for two adults to share. If you're bringing young children, be aware that there are no gates on the stairs so you'll have to be extra careful."

  • Basic, with Great Beds!

"We were looking for a place to relax after working all day, and this certainly fit the bill! The furnishings are basic, but adequate, and the beds are superb! We both slept better than we had in ages! Also, very well stocked with basic kitchen needs."
