"We had a great time at Play Gardens. The house is fantastic, the grounds are beautiful, the pool is refreshing and the porch has million dollar views. Everything about this place is peaceful..."

  • Wonderful house, beautiful location, fantastic hosts

"Our weekend at the Hunt Box was fantastic. The house is beautifully decorated and incredibly comfortable. Enjoying our breakfast on the patio was the perfect way to start the day. Karen and her welcoming touches make you feel right at home. We can't wait for our next excuse to stay here."

  • Quaint cottage ! Great location!

"I just stayed in Peyton's cottage last weekend. My sister lives nearby but has a house full with 4 kids. The cottage was very clean and adorable! Love the decorations! It is a great location. You can walk to all the shops and restaurants. I brought my large rescue dogs and it was great. They loved the large floor space to lay around. Lots of great places to walk dogs and fields for playing catch. Peyton & her husband were very friendly and helpful! I highly recommend this lovely cottage and area!"

  • Gorgeous, comfortable home, centrally located.

"My extended family and I spent a week at Blue Hill and had a wonderful time. The house is so beautiful and well laid out. I grew up in an old house and it felt like coming home. It was terribly hot and humid the whole week, but with the central air conditioning we were never uncomfortable. We took day trips to the arboretum, grist mill, and Long Branch Historic house, all of which are literally five minutes from the house. My sister-in-law got riding lessons at a horse farm around the corner, and we went tubing down the Shenandoah at Watermelon park. The house was spotlessly clean and well equipped. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing place in the country that isn't super remote."
