House was very nice and clean. Located between Salem and Catawba. Close to McAfee Knob parking area. Host was very responsive. We would stay again.

I highly recommend this location for your stay. Quiet beautiful cabin on a river with all the comforts of home. We booked on very short notice. Sonny was extremely accommodating and a perfect host! He was available (if needed) while also giving you your privacy. The cabin has everything you need and more. There is a very comfortable king size bed in the main room and an equally comfy queen in the loft. All of the appliances are updated and the bathroom shower is very roomy. There are board games, kayaks, a fishing pole, TV, WiFi, corn hole and more! They even provided firewood and kindling for the fire pit!Being a woodworker myself, I appreciated all of the gorgeous craftsmanship and thoughtfulness that went into the cabin. If all of this sounds like what you would enjoy, don’t look any further. Book now! Everything as described. Beautiful location. Very clean everywhere. Lots of space heaters to stay toasty in the winter. Tons of privacy for the most part, except for a surprise visit from the son. He was nice and wanted to strap down the hot tub cover on a windy day. But we didn't get a heads up about it so we thought he was a stranger at first.

We (myself and girlfriend) absolutely loves our stay! The moment you walk in, you can't help but smile. Water views, and surrounded by trees, we felt instant relaxation. Kayaking on Smith Mountain Lake, a fire pit, a hot tub, and an awesome game room... everything we wanted. Thank you Taylor for your stellar communication and instructions for the home. 5 STARS!!!

This was a very nice getaway for us. Everything was so very clean and Kathy was super easy to work with. We plan to return in the near future.

This property is secluded with majestic views and wonderful accommodations with the mountain cabin flair.

My family and I had a lovely stay at Evelyn's cottage. The property is beautiful, we even saw some deer one morning. We will definitely stay again when we are in town visiting our in-laws.
