  • Comfortable and Great Location

"Very cozy and comfortable home. well stocked kitchen and comfortable couch for sitting and watching TV. Bedrooms are spacious and felt private. Easy to locate and a quite neighborhood. Would recommend for families or couples traveling together."

  • Great view and very comfortable cabin!

"One of the few properties with both a gorgeous mountain view, and river access. Relaxing in the hot tub while watching the sunset over the hills was spectacular. The owners were very responsive. Had a great time and hope to visit again soon!"

  • Weekend with family :-)

"Perfect place for a few days away! The cabin is cozy and comfortable, with room for being together and separate. The screen porch was so nice for coffee in the mornings, and suppers at night. Although we don't usually watch tv on get away weekends, it was great to have one to watch the Olympics! We cooked our meals there, and found everything we needed as far as kitchen tools, from pots and pans to serving dishes. Really appreciated the land line-there is no cell service. But, we were informed of that before we arrived, so we're able to give the cabin number out for emergency purposes. Hope we can stay here again sometime."

  • Special birthday weekend

"The beautiful home sits in a pretty woodsy location. A nearby magnificent overlook was picture perfect and from here the night sky was a highlight for those of us staying up late. It's location is ideal for easy access to trails and the Winter Garden Spa. A short drive out of the resort and up the knoll puts you directly on the Blue Ridge Parkway. In the other direction, a bit longer drive down to the valley, offers all kinds of recreation, dining, antiquing, historical sites, all sorts of wineries and breweries, etc. Everything is provided in the kitchen-all high quality stock. The house is very well cared for indoors and out, clean, comfy seating and bedding and just plain fun with billiards downstairs. We really appreciated the 2 indoor living spaces as well as 2 outdoors. We did have tech savvy folks with us-but couldn't use some. Our suggestion is to have a laminated instruction sheet with photo of device being described. Highly recommended."
