  • The Perfect Retreat

"The carriage house at Twin Maple Farm is absolutely the best place we've ever stayed! It is equipped with anything and everything you might need during your stay. It has such a peaceful and quiet ambiance . . . truly a home away from home! Blue and Winston were delightful and were accommodating to allow our dog to help them "guard the area" every once in a while. Our cocker spaniel had never seen a horse and thought Jasper was a bit intimidating. She didn't know what to think of the chickens. We loved the whole experience! We would rate our stay as an A+ and highly recommend it to rest, relax, and rejuvenate! Thank you, Janet and Brian! Will definitely keep this on our list! • Great cabin. Quiet surroundings and beautiful. we saw a few deer over the weekend.

"We got there late on Friday evening. It was dark and scary driving to the top of the mountain, but the owner had turned on the lights and the cabin was beautiful when we made it to the top."

  • Large, rustic hunting lodge– perfect for big groups

"Great place for large groups! We had a tough time finding a space that would fit our whole crew, but this was prefect for us. Both Tom the Elder and Tom the Younger were welcoming, helpful and great hosts. The house had plenty of bedrooms and seating for all. I wish that we could have stayed longer– we were very comfortable there. My only negative feedback is that the kitchen only has very basic items. Cooking for 15+ people was a bit of a challenge with regular size pots & pans, but we made it work. I would recommend that if you're planning to cook for a large group, bring your own large pots & pans / crock pot / bakeware. Would recommend!"
