  • Wonderful Experience

"My family of 14 stayed in the James River House and had a great experience. They accommodated an early check-in and were very easy to work with. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the space was adequate for our group. It was a convenient location for us, only a 30 minute drive to Roanoke College where we were watching soccer games. We also enjoyed the cute pub/restaurant located next door and local hikes."

  • Amazing...

"Truly peaceful yet anything you need is 10 minutes away. Cabin is very rustic and charming although it could use a little spiffing up, dated. Beds super comfortable plenty of pillows and blankets whatever you may need is at your fingertips... We loved it."

  • Fresh clean air and Relaxing

"Had a great time at the Willow Haven Cabin for out girls weekend out. The cabin is awesome, was just 3 of us but large groups would work out great also, lots of room inside and out. Beautiful location on the water plus close enough to downtown Lexington for great dinning and shops. Highly recommend for any type of get away."

  • Large, rustic hunting lodge– perfect for big groups

"Great place for large groups! We had a tough time finding a space that would fit our whole crew, but this was prefect for us. Both Tom the Elder and Tom the Younger were welcoming, helpful and great hosts. The house had plenty of bedrooms and seating for all. I wish that we could have stayed longer– we were very comfortable there. My only negative feedback is that the kitchen only has very basic items. Cooking for 15+ people was a bit of a challenge with regular size pots & pans, but we made it work. I would recommend that if you're planning to cook for a large group, bring your own large pots & pans / crock pot / bakeware. Would recommend!"
