                                                                                                      The house was very nice! there was plenty of room for all 9 guests and the hot tub was a nice bonus. the house was very clean and the game room in the basement was awesome as well. Lynn was very accommodating. There is a house being built right next door which is very close and the workers were rather loud early in the morning and ran a compressor all day long.(Kinda ruined the peace and quiet expected on vacation unfortunately.) Other than that, the place was great and highly recommended.

                                                                                                      A quiet retreat in beautiful Massanutten!

                                                                                                      My husband and I stayed here for six weeks while searching for a new home nearby and we're so glad we did! This is a large log cabin with beautiful wood furniture throughout including a truly giant dining room table. The kitchen was well stocked with small appliances and everything else I needed to cook and bake for an extended stay. We don't have any children, but we do work from home, and this cabin had more than enough room for us both to do that comfortably. The bunk beds in the lofts would be perfect if you have a large family or multiple families with kids looking to vacation together. I would have loved it as a kid traveling with my sisters and several cousins to have our own lofts with the catwalk in between. The home is also animal friendly, so you can bring your dog or cat along for the trip. The neighborhood is quiet and well maintained. Everyone waves to you and is very friendly, but not intrusive. There's a lovely wooded backyard view that you can enjoy from the large back deck. There's also a big grill on the deck, if you like to have cookouts. We didn't have a chance to take advantage of everything that Massanutten had to offer, but we have friends who live there all year and they love it. There are all sorts of outdoor family activities, nice hiking, and concerts to check out. There's also an excellent restaurant on top of the mountain called Base Camp that has outdoor seating around fire pits. This was a working vacation for us, and we have higher than average internet speed needs. The high speed internet at this home was amazing! You'll have access, if you want, to all of your streaming media or any work you need to do online. Finally, the owners and property manager are the nicest people! They were flexible, quick to answer any questions we had, and they were ready to take care of any problems that arose (none did). We would definitely return if we were looking to vacation in the area, and highly recommend it.
