  • Everything was perfect!

"This cabin is beautiful inside and out! Great space for a group and easy walking distance to the lodge for activities, meals, etc. The owner was responsive to all of our needs and easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!!"

  • Peaceful and Easy Getaway

"We decided at the last minute to book a quick getaway. I contacted the owners on Thursday about renting the following day. They responded quickly and we reserved the lodge. We arrived Friday evening after work and spent a wonderful weekend relaxing and unwinding. The weather was a bit rainy but we didn't care. We enjoyed the cabin and all it had to offer - the covered hot-tub kept the rain off of us; the fireplace kept us warm, the welcoming living areas kept us comfortable; and the views kept us entertained. We chose this rental over several others in the area because of the welcoming feel. The owners did a wonderful job decorating. There are pictures on the walls and even a story about a family member's experience during the Civil War. We didn't want to leave but now that we've found this place, we will be back!"

  • Lovely, huge apartment in Luray

"Peabody's Hip Little Stay is a fun place to rest after hiking in the Shenandoah National Park. My husband and I hike Old Rag every October, and like to find new places to experience for the 2 days we are there. This B&B is roomier than expected, with the amenities of coffee and a lighter style breakfast being brought up to your room around 8:30- 9:00 AM. The atmosphere is relaxed and Judy does a great job of giving you your space with your loved one. The hot tub with a view of the mountains was a great way to unwind after the 9.6 mile Old Rag hike! Judy and her dog, Miss Helen, are friendly, warm, and Judy gives excellent advice on where to have a wonderful meal in town. We recommend Peabody's Hip Little Stay! Dar and Doug Miller"
