  • Peaceful forest sanctuary

"We stayed in this special spot for two weeks while my wife recovered from major surgery at the UVA Medical Center. Su Casa was very quiet, peaceful, and surrounded by a beautiful fall canopy of red and gold leaves. Sheree found it to be a healing spot. This small carriage house is separated from the main house and has a private deck that faces the forest. We enjoyed walking on the private road and sitting in the sun on the porch swings adjacent to their lovely garden. We also enjoyed their black Lab and the neighbor's Australian Shepherd that kept us company. The house itself is small but efficiently laid out and tastefully decorated. Justo and Nancy are available and attentive but not intrusive--excellent hosts! We particularly enjoyed exploring Crozet and the wealth of wineries in the area. We highly recommend Su Casa for a short or long stay and hope to return ourselves."

  • Cozy home, convenient access

"Our 2 families enjoyed staying at the Tyro Slope-Side House. There was enough snow on the ground to be able to ski in and out for the first part of the week we were there. On Wednesday, the temperature was rather warm and all of the snow in the property's yard had melted; so, there was a very easy & short climb to get to the house. Thursday brought much cooler temperatures and the snow blowers from Tyro slope covered the yard again so that it was truly ski in/out again. The blowers ran non-stop, but you couldn't hear them in the house (and I slept in the room closest to the slopes). Anything you could think you may need was found in the house. We enjoyed being able to cook all of our meals at the house and come back at lunch to eat. It was very easy to get in and out. Thank you for sharing your home with us."

  • A relaxing time with friends

"Our two families had a wonderful time relaxing at Cox Cabin! The location to the resort was perfect, roaring fires every night were perfect and fun was had by all! We also loved the short drive to the Upper Schmokin' falls, which was a quick, brisk hike to a beautiful waterfall! Thank you for your warm hospitality! We hope to be back again next year!!"
