  • Our Summer Vacation

"We stayed the week of September 19th. The house is very well kept, equipped, entertainment and games, books for family of all ages. The house says it is not handicapped accessible but in reality someone with minimal handicap could stay in the downstairs. The two docks were excellent for fishing and keeping our boat. Our dogs loved the house and the freedom to live with us. They were not allowed upstairs (carpet) no one knows whose animals are really house broken. They were allowed in the rest of the house and enjoyed the walk to the dock for their morning walk. We caught lots of fish on the dock. Most lakes this is unheard of. Gotta have a boat to fish lakes. The only improvement would be more ice trays or when one of the fridges are updated get an ice maker. There were 5 of us and never enough ice. Get some going in unless you plan to sight see and leave the property. The house has everything you could want for entertainment if the weather is bad. Video games, ping pong, foose ball, air hockey, poker, pool, board games, cards and the list goes on....We did not need but there was even an up to date infant tub in the master bath if needed. You only need take food, sheets, towels and toiletries this house has everything. The owner responds quick and is very GREAT to work with. We will be back next year if available!!!!!"

  • very nice!

"The property was as advertised...well maintained, clean and comfortable. Rick sent us all kinds of suggestions and recommendations for the area that were very helpful. The kitchen was well appointed and I appreciated the starter soaps and paper products. This trip was just my husband and myself, but there would have been plenty of room for my daughters and their babies.(next trip) The lake was lovely and we rented a pontoon boat for one day to explore the area. Don't miss Occoneechee State Park, (one of the nicest state parks I've ever been to). Unfortunately we had to depart a day earlier than planned (illness), but I hope we will return again. It would be helpful to have information posted about where to take trash."

  • Perfect for the entire family, an awesome lake house

"This makes our 3rd year in a row for staying here at Kerr Lake. It works perfectly for my family with all its roominess and having the dock for the boat. We rent a golf cart but I really don't mind the 435 steps down to the water. Yes, there is a water view from the porch, which is also huge and is a wonderful space. There are plenty of water toys and I especially enjoyed the stand-up paddle board this year. No problems, no worries, a nice, quiet get away."

  • We had a great time!

"It was a wonderful, relaxing vacation week. We especially enjoyed having coffee on the deck every morning and sitting around the fire pit every night. The cabin was the perfect size for us and our Collie (he enjoyed it very much also). I'm happy that we were able to find that the cabin was available for the week that we wanted to vacation. Thanks, Jennifer & Greg, for allowing us to enjoy the use of your cabin."
