  • SKI 5 House for Family Reunion

"We just rented the SKI 5 house for a family reunion over a long weekend and had a blast. Great location with lovely views of the lake and a unique floor plan (with 2 kitchens) and bedrooms on both levels. Loved the screened porch on the top level!! Had a BBQ one night using the deck on the lower level for the grills and the large kitchen downstairs for food prep with our group spread out all over the family room and dining area. I would have given a 5 star rating if the house was cleaner. Needs a good "deep clean" a few times a season in my opinion (as well as regular cleanings after each group of renters departs). Also, we used our own grills because the two provided by the owner are in very bad shape (really need to be replaced)."

  • Spacious and Spectacular

"This property is perfect for a 20+ family vacation. The kitchen is awesome to work in. You will not feel like you are tripping over one another in the main gathering area. There is something for everyone: media room, ping pong table, yard, fire pit, dock and trampoline, screened porch, canoe. . .We enjoyed heading to the main lake to catch the glorious evening sunsets. The master bedrooms are very large and lovely. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a large home for a great rate. The Germano's were gracious as they worked to provide a great experience for us."

  • Location! Location! Location!

"This home is located very close to the lake with large windows to showcase the gorgeous view. We particularly enjoyed having two living areas to spread ourselves out and yet enough separate bedrooms to enjoy privacy as well. The kitchen was well-stocked with all the basics, including a crockpot; everything was in good working order. The firepit was a big hit--and so convenient to have firewood at the ready (you just need to add money to a jar). We had a relaxing and wonderful time!"

  • Didn't want to leave!!

"The Great Escape was perfect for our annual summer vacation with family! We normally go to the beach and agreed that a lake vacation is way more relaxing and accommodating for all age groups. At the height of our stay, we had 13 people staying (4 of them teenagers and 2 little ones) - there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out! The kitchen was fully stocked with more than enough of what we needed for cooking almost every night. Our two favorite spots to relax were on the top deck area of the boat dock and the fire pit area. Both were great for morning and evening conversations. We never stopped with water activities - the weather was so hot, there was no other place to be than in the water! The location of this property is ideal since it is closed off from the main lake and on a point for spectacular views and calm waters. Thank you, Pete and family, for helping us create wonderful family memories of our own!"
