  • Very Comfortable and Awesome Cabin

"I can only echo the other glowing reviews of this property. This was a grandparents/grandsons (sans parents) getaway. The cabin is beautifully decorated, spotless, spacious, and well-equipped. It's also well located whether you plan to ski at Crystal or head into Mt Rainier NP for hiking and sightseeing. The owner was most cooperative and communicates well, both by email and by the excellent instruction provided. The cabin includes a great video collection, games and puzzles, and nature books on plants, wildlife, etc. We hope to get back on one of our future Seattle visits."

  • Great Weekend Get-away

"A great experience. The owner was very responsive and helpful. This is the 3rd Kahler Glen condo we've stayed at and by far in the best condition. Very comfortable, clean, and welcoming. Quiet in the winter. Nice fireplace, but remember to bring your own firewood, starter and matches. Ski and snowshoe trails right outside the condo unit. The only downside was that it's a 2nd floor unit, so kids couldn't just walk out the back patio to play in the snow, but that was minor. Lake Wenatchee is about 20 minutes away on skis (at my pace) and about 4 minutes by car. You need a SnoPark pass, but the groomed sledding hill is a hit for kids and adults."

  • Great Stay

"I just got back from our stay at the Sumbling Elk Lodge at Suncadia. I was there with a church women's group and we all loved it so much! Suncadia alone is amazing and we really enjoyed the property. The house was very clean, had lots of space, and the owner was very easy to work with. I was there with 14 other women and we all had enough space and felt like it was easy to be comfortable in this house. I could see how it would be a great house for kids too. Our only problem we had was with the oven. We had a hard time figuring it out, and burned a few dishes:( It was way hotter than the temperature said. So maybe some directions with it would be very helpful. A few notes if you are staying there: 1. bring ziplocs bags 2. It says it sleeps 16 which with children it definitely could if you put 2 kids on each double bed and the pull out couch. But for a group of 16 women, that doesn't work so well. What we did was had a few people bring air mattresses to put in the rooms. The rooms are huge and there was plenty of room for that, but that way we weren't asking 2 women's to share a double bed. Also Suncadia will come and deliver cots too. We used one as well. Hope these tips help you! We hope to stay here again in the future. This is our 3rd house we've stayed at there and my favorite!"

  • The Great Escape!

"Cowlitz View exceeded our expectations! The home was lovely, comfortable and supplied everything we needed. The owners were very helpful and accommodating. My husband and I celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary with our two adult children and my son's girlfriend. After long days of hiking, the hot tub, great food from the grill, and spectacular views made this spot an outstanding long weekend away. Beds were comfortable, living area with expansive windows offered a stunning display of God's glory. We also enjoyed the quiet privacy of the area. We would not hesitate to return!! JS"
