  • A Lovely Winter Weekend Away

"We had 2 couples and 2 dogs staying here and were very comfortable. We love that this place is pet-friendly - they even had an extra dog bed and designated dog towels, which was perfect for our pups after we got back from a snowy hike in Lake Wenatchee State Park up the road. For a winter weekend, the hot tub was amazing (can't beat a beautiful lake and mountain view from the tub). There was a stocked woodshed ready for us and it was lovely to cozy up in front of the wood stove in the living room. Overall, we had a great time and I highly recommend this place - I would love to come back in the summer to take advantage of the backyard fire pit and the nearby recreation options. We didn't make it to Leavenworth but it's proximity should be a draw to people looking to stay here."

  • The weekend was a blast!

"The hot tub was great, the house was warm, the beds were all comfortable and the kitchen worked out perfectly! I do have one bugaboo though. I accidentally left my sleeping bag there and really liked that thing. Let me know if it is recoverable!"

  • Great Weekend Get-away

"A great experience. The owner was very responsive and helpful. This is the 3rd Kahler Glen condo we've stayed at and by far in the best condition. Very comfortable, clean, and welcoming. Quiet in the winter. Nice fireplace, but remember to bring your own firewood, starter and matches. Ski and snowshoe trails right outside the condo unit. The only downside was that it's a 2nd floor unit, so kids couldn't just walk out the back patio to play in the snow, but that was minor. Lake Wenatchee is about 20 minutes away on skis (at my pace) and about 4 minutes by car. You need a SnoPark pass, but the groomed sledding hill is a hit for kids and adults."

  • Beautiful home!!

"We stayed here from June 23rd to the 27th....my daughter was married at Browns Family Homestead and we wanted somewhere to stay that was close to the venue. When you walk through the front door, you can see the amazing views of the Lake.....and it just gets better from there. There was plenty of room for all us, with 3 floors we had no problem spreading out. The home was very clean and well stocked with everything needed to be comfortable. We spent most of our time out on the deck, as it was a warm weekend, just enjoying the view, and the downstairs deck area has more chairs and a couple swinging hammocks that the kids enjoyed. The lake was close enough to walk too, as we walked down several times and just around the neighborhood. One of our daughters did see a Bear roaming the road one night down by the State Park, which was pretty exciting! Ron and Patty were very responsive to all our e mails and phone calls. We were very lucky to have found this beautiful home on VRBO, and we are already talking about coming out during the winter to stay again as we just love it out there!"
