  • Perfect Winter Getaway

"Our family decided it was high time for a weekend get away. We found this wonderful home and it was perfect for my 3 kids, their spouses, and their kids. The large table meant we could all eat together and the kitchen was so INCREDIBLY well stocked. We brought our own electric griddle thinking there wouldn't be one for our morning pancake breakfast. Not only was there an electric griddle, there was a crock pot and a rice cooker as well as plentiful pots, pans, and cookie sheets. The snow we hoped for was more than abundant almost making it to the top of the deck railing by the end of our visit. A driveway for the home next door made a perfect sledding hill for the preschoolers, long enough to be a good sled down, but short enough to be an easy climb back up. There was more than enough room for kids to play and grown ups to socialize. Tons of movies, a game console, cable to watch the Super Bowl...It would have been perfect if only the wrong team hadn't won."

  • Amazing cabin, hosts and stay away from home!

"The cabin, the furnishings, the owners the entire thing is WONDERFUL. We had an amazing family trip away to enjoy the winter snow, Leavenworth and time with family. I would recommend this cabin to anyone wanting a quiet get away. AMAZING!!!"

  • Great house

"We were the first guests to stay in this home after the new owner so there were a few things not complete. However, the home is gorgeous and so peaceful. There is plenty of room to spread out and enjoy time together or in small groups. The stairs are wooden so be sure to either go barefoot or bring slippers that grip. Their is a sledding hill and snow shoe hill a quick 5 min drive from the house. Leavenworth is about 30 min. We didn't eat at the little restaurant but it seemed to be reasonably priced if you don't want to cook although the kitchen was nicely stocked to prepare almost anything. The house is well suited for families- it appears they are building some sort of game room and there was an x box in the theater room with at l game- we didn't play it. There were some great older VHS movies and no dvds. But the tv connects to the internet so you can add your Netflix of Hulu account while you are there. The home was fantastic and you will leave feeling refreshed."

  • Nice but with a few manageable issues.

"Really nice cabin across the street from the lake. The pictures for this cabins booking ad do not tell the whole story of its location. It is across a two lane highway from the lake-the pictures do not represent this. The road is not very busy except for heavy trucks coming and going from a quarry. It did not really bother us but is loud would have me keeping a good eye on little kids and pets. The cabin was clean and nicely appointed. The biggest disappointment was the hot tub was a luke warm tub. 90 degrees max and is very visible from the road. No secrets from the neighbors here. Positive was the mountain view across the lake and the wood stove was really nice."
