  • Perfect hideaway location

"If the sound and sight of a mountain river rushing over rocks is your idea of the perfect background for reading, writing, sipping wine, or napping, Eva's Cottage on the gorgeous Washougal River is as good as it gets. Eva's has a more modern feel to it than other cabins from the same time period you might stay in, but the updated kitchen and bathroom, the very efficient forced air furnace, and available wi-fi will keep you from feeling like you're roughing it more than you're comfortable with. The big stone fireplace is a wonder (read the history of the cabin to really appreciate it) and lovely to stare into at the end of the day. If you like exploring and scenery, there's no shortage of amazing views - from the Washougal River Road drive from Washougal to the cabin, Cape Horn on Hwy 14, or the little towns of Stevenson and Carson further up the road... Eva's was the perfect spot for some much needed downtime."

  • Amazing Winter Weekend at The Coves

"We stayed a couple of days at the Riverhouse and absolutely loved it. With it being early December, the weather was misty and cold but we kept a fire roaring in the fireplace and chairs parked in front of the big picture window looking out on the Columbia River. The heated floors kept the place nice and warm. We had a great time relaxing and enjoying the quiet and peacefulness of the Columbia Gorge. Will definitely be back."

  • Spacious, clean, comfortable, and right on the Klickitat River. What more could you ask for?

"I arrived late, the lights were on as promised. I was really impressed with the comfort of the rental, with plenty of room for me to get my fishing gear ready for early the next morning. The rental is right on the water, far enough back from the road so that traffic noise doesn't interfere with the sound of the river and I liked that. I would recommend, and for sure I'll try to book this rental my next trip to Klickitat."

  • A beautiful property.

"I've been to this location before and it is beautiful. Rugged farm house with wide open spaces. Beautiful land around it. The house is quaint and reminds a person of simpler times. The owner stopped by real quick to make sure we were okay. They also have outer buildings for a very large venue but we did not use them. Even a disk gold course! Pros: Beautiful, clean, had everything we needed. Cons: The internet did not work that well. A very slow connection which kind of makes sense since it is in the country but in today's age it would have been nice to know that so we could plan for it."
