  • Perfect

"The perfect jumping off point for hiking. Stevenson was lovely compared to busy mt hood. Husbands and kids will love the train. We exchanged our car rental Hyundai Elantra for a small SUV which handled the gravel road and turn off much better. Love the craftsman furniture."

  • Great place!

"Each summer my family vacations with 4 other families. There are 23 of us in all. We've stayed here for the last 3 years and have had a fantastic time. The home is big, clean, and has lots of amenities. Our kids love running around the property playing "kick the can," and "hide and seek." They also enjoy the ping pong table, basketball hoop, and board games. Stevenson is a perfect central spot for lots of adventures nearby. We've gone hiking up and down the gorge, visited Beacon Rock State Park, went swimming, geocaching, etc...Once our kids are older we'll try whitewater rafting and kite surfing/windsurfing. I highly recommend this home for your vacation!"

  • Amazing Winter Weekend at The Coves

"We stayed a couple of days at the Riverhouse and absolutely loved it. With it being early December, the weather was misty and cold but we kept a fire roaring in the fireplace and chairs parked in front of the big picture window looking out on the Columbia River. The heated floors kept the place nice and warm. We had a great time relaxing and enjoying the quiet and peacefulness of the Columbia Gorge. Will definitely be back."

  • Great Family Home

"This is a beautiful home with amazing views of the river from the spacious backyard and from each bedroom. The house is large and can accommodate a crowd ,although if you do have 8 adults staying, the lack of another full bath can be trying at times, with only one full shower other than the master. The house has a large kitchen area for cooking. The negative things for the house were ... the BBQ was so dirty it kept catching on fire and the noise from the train was so loud at times when sitting at the patio it was hard to hear someone talking. The freeway can be loud as well. That said, we would rent the house again. It was great for our family and such a lovely setting ansd Amy was super easy and helpful to work with!"
