  • Amazing location. Amazing vacation.

"My brother and I spent 4 nights in the cabin. We had a fantastic time. The location of this cabin could not be any better. We were out in the middle of nowhere surrounded by nothing but trees. You only saw people if you chose to. I can't imagine a cabin in a more perfectly secluded area. The absolute silence was incredible. We were relatively close to all of the sights we wanted to see in the National Park. From the Rain Forest to the beaches. It was a great vacation. The owner was very easy and pleasant to deal with and showed a true interest in our enjoyment of the cabin and area. I would highly recommend the Hoh Valley Hideaway for anyone that enjoys being surrounded by nature. I truly hope to return to this wonderful area in the future."

  • Great experience

"My family of five (ages 9-75) enjoyed our stay very much. We come to Forks every summer, and this is by far the nicest accommodation we have found. It is also superior to most of the VRBO rentals we have used throughout the West. We will be back. Warm welcome and very personal service.(Julie did a special spider check because my granddaughter refers to one of our prior rentals as The Spider House and, indeed, no spiders were found despite the house being in the woods.) Exceptionally well stocked kitchen, bathroom, and laundry room; nice linens. Great game collection. Dining table big enough for everybody. Furnishings in good shape. Beds good. The house is centrally located for great beaches (Rialto and, our favorite, second beach) and an easy drive to Ruby Beach and the Hoh rain forest. (I should note the wifi is too slow for anything beyond checking email and Facebook, but I'm pretty sure that this is endemic to the area and beyond Julie's control. If being able to download videos or play interactive games on your phone is important, probably Forks is not for you.)"

  • Brian Cavaleri, Beaverton OR

"I have had the pleasure of working with Julie for over 3 years now. I host fly-fishing trips to the Olympic Peninsula every year and have had nothing but a pleasant experience since the day I began doing business with Julie. She is very detail orientated, organized, personable and accommodating. She goes out of her way to make sure the guests truly enjoy their experience there and have everything they need to make that possible. The houses ( yes, there are two available to rent) are both beautiful and perfectly located on the banks of the famous SolDuc River. Wether you are there to just relax and enjoy the atmosphere of the cabins, hike in the rainforest, clam dig, fish or boat the Cozy River Houses are sure to surpass your needs. They and Julie are truly one of a kind and I look forward to going back every year!"

  • Very special family reunion

"Our family of 8 plus one little guy spent 6 days, 5 nights at the Wolf Den. The kitchen was well-stocked with every amenity we needed, including paper towels, spices, soap, dish washer soap and laundry detergent. The house was equipped with WiFi, but we had very limited cell service. They provided a landline, though, which was nice. Beds were comfortable and the loft sleeping arrangement worked out well for our family's needs. There was a propane bbq on the deck and a great fire pit in the backyard. We were surprised by a herd of elk one morning in our backyard. Quite the treat. There's a nice walking trail to the river. Even though there was only one shower, there was a separate toilet in the laundry room which also worked out well for our family. The location of this house was close to the beaches at La Push and Rialto where we did some hikes. Also, close to the Hoh Rain Forest, too. Thanks, Michelle, for the salmon dinner! The north Washington coast is spectacular and renting this home allowed our family to spend time together and enjoy the beauty of the area. Karen & Ernie"
