  • Beautiful & Peaceful Getaway

"Our family of 4 had a wonderful getaway to this lovely Hood Canal cottage. Our kids (ages 4 & 6) loved exploring low tide under the cottage deck along with hanging out on the huge deck. We appreciated that the deck was gated from the water so the kids could play outside without us being overly concerned about them falling into water. The kitchen was fully stocked and perfect for having all our meals at the cottage. The beds were super comfortable (wish there were bunk beds in second bedroom, but we brought along an air mattress since our kids didn't want to share a bed so no biggie). During our stay we saw seals swimming by, visited Hunter Farms down the road for ice cream and saw lots of baby farm animals (if you go there, be prepared for mud and poop in the barn), and we explored the Olympic National Park Staircase area (check WTA for road conditions before you go as the park road was in very poor condition). Overall, this cottage is great! Everything is newly renovated, clean, and bright. They even had great wifi access and an Amazon Alexa voice control device that the kids couldn't stop talking to (we got constant weather reports and awesome dance music from Alexa). Thanks again for a great stay!!!!"

  • The perfect pacific northwest weekend

"We stayed 3 nights at this beautiful Harstine Island cabin with 3 couples, a toddler, and a baby. There was a little something for everyone. We brought kayaks (which we were able to launch nearby), dug for clams (which there were an abundance of), ate oysters (which Mike hand picked for us), played lawn games on the beautiful grass, went for bike rides, had bonfires, and enjoyed the beautiful views of the sound and Mount Rainier. Mike was very welcoming and helpful. Minimal cell service and no internet made for a much needed relaxing and rejuvenating long weekend. We will definitely be back!"

  • The View Is Unforgettable!

"We booked this waterfront flat for the hot tub but it came with much more. While I was packing, I received an email that the flat was ready and I could move in anytime. I have rented many VRBOs and no one has proactively let me know I can move in early until Wendy, one of the homeowners. This is a family owned respite and has such a feel. We felt at home preparing meals, enjoying a fire in the fireplace, and selecting a novel from the abundant library. It was Seahawk Sunday so we enjoyed the game on a TV much bigger than our own. And then there's the view. It was sunny and clear so we experienced Mt. Rainer over the water while in the hot tub. Not to be missed. You can't go wrong with this vacation rental!"
