  • Just book it!!

"I am from the East Coast and an ocean person. Having said that, this is one of the most lovely homes that I have ever rented (and I have rented several over the years) in one of the most beautiful settings that I have ever visited. Clean, quiet, comfortable. This place has it all. We rented for a full week and were glad that we did! Yes, just book it!"

  • A gift of solitude and beauty

"We stepped across the threshold into the Thorndike lodge ....and we knew it was going to be a memorable visit. Everything about the home was clean, well appointed and welcoming. And talk about comfortable !! And there we were...at the waters edge....and the beauty of Hood Canal. The Eagles and heron and bunnies delighted our grandchildren....and we knew they could play on the beautiful lawn....or beachcomb with Grandpa on the beach. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being so forthcoming and patient with all our questions ahead of time. Tonya...you were a delight to work with....and everything you told us was exactly as you described. Thank you thank you thank you....we shall return !!!"

  • Beautiful house

"We loved our stay at the All Seasons Waterfront Villa on the Hood Canal. It's an absolutely beautiful area, and the house is right on the water with a large yard, steps leading down to the beach, and fantastic views over the canal and the hills beyond. The house is large and very well-appointed; three full bedrooms, two full baths, and enough separation between the master bedroom and the others so people can spread out a bit and have some privacy. Hiking, biking, kayaking, and other adventures await in the surrounding area. Just up the road is Kayak Brinnon, where we rented kayaks and gear to go crabbing, catching ourselves some nice red rock crab for dinner. There's only a few downsides. First, the area is fairly remote, and it's at least a 30-minute drive to the nearest proper grocery store (not including a gas station a mile or so up the road). Come prepared since there's no quick dash to the store to grab something you forgot. Second, the house comes without any cable or satellite TV service, and no real DVD collection to speak of. Bring a laptop (the Internet works fine) and an HDMI cable so you can play your own movies on the TV. Third, the hot tub is great but during our stay the thermostat was not working properly, and was overheating -- we found that leaving the cover off for a few hours would let it cool down."

  • Great property!

"The property was well stocked, clean, and comfortable. A very comfortable home away from home. One of the best vacation rentals we have ever stayed in. Beach was super close, as well as other great amenities for kids and families."
