  • The Ultimate Home Away From Home

"This was our second year at Eagles Nest and we well definitely be back again! The home has comfortable beds and linens, a great view of the ocean, and all the amenities to make you feel at home during your stay. The kids and adults alike enjoyed the easy and picturesque beach access through the dunes, the endless search for shells and ocean treasures, the sightings of bald eagles, the kite flying, and the hours of laughs and games we played. The owners provide a personalized check in upon arrival to help answer questions and make your stay the best it can be. Thank you for sharing your home with us!"

  • A bum's life at the Beach Bum Inn!

"We stayed at the Beach Bum Inn for five nights. The location was a stone's throw from the beach. The property itself is a separate entrance quarters beneath the house occupied by the owners Jim and Patti. Although you are not quite alone, the 1 bdrm apartment is secluded from the main entrance to the house so you don't really notice. You have a private patio with great views and a hot tub right out your front door. The owners have a friendly dog named Bailey who is quiet and well mannered. He loves the beach! All the amenities you need are taken care of and Jim saved my bacon by letting me use the freezer in his garage to freeze my freshly caught salmon. The views of the ocean are spectacular and the beach walking is uncrowded and endless to the south. To the north, you have about a quarter mile before you reach the Moclips River and then to the North of the river is the Quinault Indian Reservation which is closed to public access. We arrived just after Labor Day so cars were allowed on the beach in front of the property. Not bad during the week, but weekends get a little busy with cars. Certainly nothing to prevent you from enjoying long walks and beach-combing though. The location is a great jumping off point to enjoy The Hoh and Quinault Rain Forests and Lake Quinault in Olympic National Park as well as the beaches in and around Kalaloch which is also in the National Park. Great time, great location, and great owners! You'll have it all at the Beach Bum Inn!"

  • Absolutely wonderful!

"We have been coming to Moclips for over twenty years and we think this is the best place to stay in Moclips! The owner's have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. We really appreciated the sand toys for the kids, inside toys for the kids, lots of games, coffee, and even spices in the kitchen! We had mostly sunny warm days and spent the majority of our time on the deck. It felt like we were sitting on the beach! The layout of the home was great with bathrooms on both levels and nice roomy bedrooms. The beach access is great and the view unbeatable! We will definitely stay here again! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home!"
