  • Best Beach House Ever!

"This home exceeded all my expectations! The beds were so comfortable. It was spacious, modern, clean and beautifully decorated. The view is magnificent and we thoroughly appreciated the private setting, with the trees and view of the ocean. Our children loved using the kayaks and hunting for sand dollars on the beach. We spent most of our time relaxing in the home and playing in the water outside the home with the kayaks and strolling in the surf at the beach front. Other tide pool beaches like La Push and Ruby Beach are within driving distance, as was the Hoh Rainforest and Olympic National Park. We loved this beach home so much we didn't want to leave. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need and is spacious and luxurious. The indoor fireplace made everything cozy and we also made use of the firepit outside one night for roasting smores! The main living areas of the home are large, open and inviting for everyone to gather, but there is also nice privacy for the master bedroom, and other bedrooms as they are separated from each other. The washer and dryer came in really handy for our family to stay on top of all the sandy wet clothes! Go ahead and book this place! So worth every penny! Spectacular! I would stay here again in a heartbeat!"

  • Perfect for our first beach vacation!

"We rented the Seadog for a week and had a great time! The house is quite large, clean, with a terrific view of the ocean from the upper porch. It was so calming to be able to constantly hear the waves in the main bedroom. The house is in a more secluded area of town, which we appreciated very much. The beds were SO comfortable, and we liked the good quality linens and that the smallest bed was still a queen. More than enough closet space and fresh towels. The kitchen was pretty well stocked. We did find that we were missing some smaller pots or saucepans for things like soup, beans, or veggies. Also, thought it strange that beach towels weren't provided. Only other thing I'd like to tell management was that we did have a problem with the smoke alarms. They went off twice, and each time it was immeditely after my husband opened the door from his shower. The first time it was in the upstairs shower, we couldn't figure out why it was going off. The second time, he went downstairs, and again, as soon as he came out and the steam came out, that alarm nearest the bathroom went off. I waved a towel near it and it stopped quickly, so that confirmed that it was indeed the steam from the shower that was setting them off. Strange, as steam shouldn't set off smoke alarms. But, this wasn't a huge deal to us. We had a lovely time at the Seadog, and would highly recommend it to any other family that is in need of a relaxing vacation. TIP: Make sure to stop at the Wal Mart in Aberdeen for supplies before you get there, as the prices at the local markets are quite high."

  • Relaxing spot by the beach

"We had a great time at the sand bucket cottage! Location is just up the street from the beach in a quiet small town. The house had everything we needed in the kitchen, clean and comfortable linens, and hot water all the time. The front patio was great for BBQ dinners during the awesome sunsets as well as a great spot for a morning cup of coffee. We also loved the fire pit in the backyard for nightly s'mores. The local Beach is a very nice spot that wasn't crowded and the kids had a great time playing in the small waves and collecting sand dollars. Seabrook is a newer high-end community just south of Pacific Beach that has some nice shops and a really good breakfast spot called Red Velvet Bakery. Great place to check out. We can't wait to come back to this relaxing spot for another long weekend!"
