  • Exactly as described

"We were looking for peace and quiet, some valuable down time to relax and unwind from our busy jobs. This was just what we hoped it would be. The trails were perfect to outlooks with beautiful views, and even the more difficult adventure making it to the beach, was well worth it. A dog friendly place made it even better for us to enjoy with them. A very clean, well equipped kitchen, and comfortable bed made it easy to enjoy our three short nights we had.Although we saw some other people from time to time, it was very quiet and we felt very secluded in this location. We have already recommended this to some of our friends."

  • Good base for exploring the Olympic Peninsula

"We stayed just one night in this cozy cottage with our son and daughter-in-law. It served us very well as a place to settle in between 2 days of hiking in Olympic National Park. Found a grocery store and restaurant nearby. Kitchen had all we needed to fix meals. View was nice and the local deer were in the yard to greet us on arrival. Would stay there again for sure."

  • Nice weekend

"The good: The cabin is in a great location, only minutes from Olympic National Park's Lake Crescent and Hurricane Ridge. Within 1-2 hour drive from the coast or rain forrest. If you don't want to leave it is a treat to sit on the upper or lower porch and enjoy the view of lake and mountains. Well stocked with movies (not much of a kid selection though), games, books, ping pong, kayaks, hot tub, sauna, and dock with diving board. Has Direct TV (no ESPN if hoping to catch the big game). No WiFi, but has good cell phone signal (Verizon). Newer appliances and well stocked kitchen. My group had 8, but 10 would would not feel cramped. Plenty of dinning seating. This would be an enjoyable location in Summer or Winter. My stay was 3 nights, could have easily have doubled that and had plenty to enjoy. The bad: Exterior pictures on website are a bit misleading. Not as private a location as pictures seem to indicate. Neighbors very close and could be very busy on a summer weekend. Poor interior lighting that is noted on cloudy days. Also many of the windows are in need of repair. Several are broken, unable open for fresh air when the sun is out."

  • Great place to stay

"We stayed as a family in the beautiful and cozy pond cabin. Was perfeclty clean, looked pretty new and was just a great place to stay. Location is about 5 or 10min off the highway and about 15min from Port Angeles. Great spot for whale watching and for the Olympic NP. Hosts were very supportive in every way."
