  • Great experience

"My family of five (ages 9-75) enjoyed our stay very much. We come to Forks every summer, and this is by far the nicest accommodation we have found. It is also superior to most of the VRBO rentals we have used throughout the West. We will be back. Warm welcome and very personal service.(Julie did a special spider check because my granddaughter refers to one of our prior rentals as The Spider House and, indeed, no spiders were found despite the house being in the woods.) Exceptionally well stocked kitchen, bathroom, and laundry room; nice linens. Great game collection. Dining table big enough for everybody. Furnishings in good shape. Beds good. The house is centrally located for great beaches (Rialto and, our favorite, second beach) and an easy drive to Ruby Beach and the Hoh rain forest. (I should note the wifi is too slow for anything beyond checking email and Facebook, but I'm pretty sure that this is endemic to the area and beyond Julie's control. If being able to download videos or play interactive games on your phone is important, probably Forks is not for you.)"

  • Cozy with a great beach

"We loved our stay at this quaint place. The wood burning stove kept us cozy. The beach was amazing and we had it all to ourselves (except for the sea lions, bald eagles, and other birds). It was very clean, had great games, a decently stocked kitchen, and comfy beds. It's nice that it had two bathrooms, despite not having any bedrooms. The sleeping loft easily held our family of four. Due to the layout we had very quiet evenings after putting the kids to bed (there is no way to shield the sleeping loft from light or sound). We loved the water view and the easy access to the beach. What a great place to explore this stretch of wild coastline."

  • Awesome storm watching!

"My sister and I loved the two nights we stayed at the Seashell. The directions were very good we were able to find the house without any problems. The beach and tide pools were so beautiful and neat even in inclement weather. We saw whales, sea otters, and bald eagles from the living room window. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything that we needed. Walking the beach each day was so relaxing even when it was raining. The trail and stairs down required you to be cautious but was not to bad as long as you used the hand rails. The Thursday night storm and the thunder and lightening early Friday morning was awesome to watch. What a wonderful place to kick back and watch a storm. There is nothing like beach combing after a storm."

  • Wonderful place.

"You feel as if you are in the deep woods but you are only yards away from the highway. Beautiful view of the Sol Tuc River from the living and master bedroom."
