  • Wonderful home that is perfect for a family get away

"This home and owner were wonderful to work with. The house is perfect for a relaxing trip, exploring the area or anything you want. A girls weekend, family gathering. We enjoyed every bit of our trip here and would definitely rent this house again if we come back. The views are amazing and different each day. i love the quiet mornings which seemed to be further away from all the boat activity in the morning."

  • Big house. Great Layout. Spectacular setting & views!

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Desiring some down time, we stayed 4 nights in May--the off-season. Great rates and quiet/private area. Mission accomplished! (Even saw an eagle fly right by us at eye-level!) The house was VERY clean and the kitchen well-stocked. Only missing an ice cream scoop, but had a salad spinner! SCORE! Loads of towels and every other gadget/small appliance imaginable, and even a few pantry items. Impressive! We experienced a minor issue with the alarm system, but Bloomer Estates handled it professionally, expediently, and generously. Great management! NOTE: It may have been the time of year, but we noticed quite a few carpenter ants, especially in the kitchen. (We killed more than a few each day.) You may want to get that treated soon. Destructive pests! Only real negative was the water, and I'm not sure you can fix that. My husband did not mind, but I am very sensitive to smells. Iron/sulfur combo made showers not so lovely, and we purchased bottled water for cooking, coffee, and even our dogs to drink. Overall, it was such a relaxing vacation, and we very much enjoyed our stay. The water issue is enough for me that I wouldn't pick this house again, but I would not hesitate to rent another home from Bloomer Estates."

  • Felt like camping with a full kitchen

"I really liked the property, and the location is phenomenal. Unfortunately there where several glaring issues that really made my experience less then thrilling. The mattresses feel like they haven't been replaced in twenty years. One of the box springs was broken from what I can only imagine was kids jumping on a bed. The sheets left a lot to be desired as well. A few hundred dollars at Ikea would really make the bedrooms something I'd want to sleep in. I would not come back in the future due to the beds alone. The kitchen was extremely well stocked as was the fireplace ares. This was the real savior for me as I was able to really cook whatever I wanted. Although the stove was pretty difficult to open due to the awkward arrangement of the cabinets. The living room is nice though the television from 1995 really felt like something that could have been upgraded sometime in the past 10 years. Surprisingly speedy wifi was our savior here. Connecting our tablets to watch Netflix since we did not have an HDMI port in the TV to use our Fire TV or Chrome cast. Again something a few hundred dollars could fix. Finally the yard. Great space, stocked fire pit, the overgrown side yard could be trimmed down to help with the massive mosquito infestation in the area. Other then that severed it's purpose and my dog loved it. To the owners my reccomendation would be to spent a few hundred dollars and update the amenities and bed to modern times. Also ensure the housekeeper is cleaning spiderwebs above the shower. No one likes a showermate, additionally dust from the inside of the heaters would prevent that God awful burning smell that occurs nightly. To future visitors. Expect less then what the pictures show but not by much. Unfortunately the place seems to have been neglected where as I could imagine it extremely lovely if it saw a bit more love. It's proximity to the beach and highway access really is what you're paying for."

  • Great Stay!

"Enjoyed our time in Ocean Shores. Sonja was warm and welcoming, cabin was clean and bright, ready for our arrival. Appreciated the use of the BBQ and left over charcoal - made for a special and unexpected good time. Appreciated the wine in the fridge as well - really hit the spot after our long drive. Cabin was a short walk from the beach and a great value for the price. Thank you - we will definitely look to stay again our next time at the shore!"
