  • Wonderful place and a great bargain

"Condos are rare on the island but the benefits are tremendous -- especially the pool and tennis courts (horseshoe pit too but bring your own horseshoes). The second little bedroom is a bit small but the master bedroom is impressive (for it's size and even more for its view). It is a wonderful spot on a quiet, beautiful island. Owner was very helpful when we had a question, and the neighbors at the pool were few but friendly. We will go back!"

  • A great vintage getaway

"Everything about this stay was easy. From it's location, communication with the owners to usage of the guesthouse. My husband and I travel a decent amount and it was the best sleep he's had just about anywhere we've been. It has a quaint vintage look without the stuffy antique smell. It has all the amenities you could want and plenty of space for being a studio. It is completely private even with the shower, hot tub and sauna outside the main door. I'd say the only small negative thing was there were several cobwebs in the rafters and doorways that we cleaned up. Thanks for a great stay! If we return to the Seattle area, we would stay here again!"

  • Fabulous Cabin in Snowline

"My husband and I spent 3 nights at this cabin in the Snowline community along with our grown son who stayed with us for two nights. The cabin has two bedrooms downstairs with a full bath between and a very large loft with a private bathroom upstairs. The kitchen has a huge table that seats 8 people, and superb counter space to store all of your supplies. This cabin was the best equipped rental I have ever stayed in. There were plenty of plates, cups, glasses, and cookware to satisfy all of your needs, in addition to a large supply of dish towels, flatware, and appliances. The washer and dryer combination located in the mudroom was perfect for doing laundry after a hard day of hiking in the beautiful wilderness area of Mt. Baker, and the hot tub was wonderful to soak aching muscles. Although there are houses on either side, the lush vegetation assures a great deal of privacy, and it feels like you are staying in secluded woods. We were able to buy all the groceries we needed in a little market in Maple Falls, which is about 10 miles down the road. I highly recommend this cabin if you are skiing at Mt. Baker, hiking, or just enjoying the breathtaking views from Artist's Point."

  • Comfortable plus great location

"We loved our stay in Packwood. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The location allowed for numerous day trips. The residents of Packwood were friendly and helpful. Being from GA we were hoping to see elk, as someone had mentioned seeing a herd of elk every morning. That was our only disappointment, certainly nothing the cabin owners have control over. If we ever return to Washington this will be our cabin of choice."
