  • Ideally situated Olympic Peninsula Retreat

"The Cabin is charming and ideally situated, just a 5 minute drive from Rialto Beach. We loved the large deck with a table and chairs that seat 6, perfect for dining al fresco. There is also a nice fire pit that we sat around each evening. The property has nice trees and is an idyllic spot for a relaxing, quiet vacation. Within a short drive of Hoh Rainforest, Ruby Beach, Sol Duc Hot Springs, Lake Crescent. It is possible to shop for food in Forks. The cabin is spacious with 2 bedrooms on the ground floor and an open loft above that sleeps at least 8. There is a full bathroom and an additional toilet in a laundry room on the ground floor. It has a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and the laundry room has a washer/dryer. We would have given the stay 5 stars but there was a minor issue with the water on our second day there. We called the owners who live nearby and within an hour or so the issue was resolved. We would stay again and would recommend the property to those looking for a "rustic" yet comfortable space to enjoy some of the most stunning scenery in the country."

  • Amazing spot to chill!

"We had a fantastic time celebrating our 24th anniversary. So peaceful and quiet. A perfect getaway! Cabin was well-stocked and super clean. Bed was very comfortable. It was a much-needed retreat for us. Enjoyed kayaking on Lake Crescent, the Sol Duch Hot Springs, and YES a Caribbean restaurant in Forks!;-) Wonderfully relaxing:-)"

  • Great & fun experience

"We stayed entire week of the Kite Festival. Large, beautiful, well-appointed home and well stocked kitchen ( though small given the size of the house). Pictures are good representation of home. Nicely decorated with quality artwork. Perfect floor plan for larger groups (there were 9 of us). Short walk to beach. Very private with nice decks to watch the sunsets. All bathrooms appeared recently renovated. The King Suite was wonderful, especially for Grandma & Grandpa to have their own private quiet space. Very long flight of steep stairs to get there, though, and not for the feint of heart."

  • Very nice place to stay for a quiet weekend - well stocked with everything you need

"Nice property and served me will for the weekend. Was there for a ham radio contest and was able to install antenna in the great trees without damaging them. I had everything I needed and even the bed was great (I have back issues). The Hut is perfect for two people. The owner met me and that was nice. I will be using VTBO again and if I do Clallem County again for a ham radio event, I will rent this unit. BTW, did not get to the beach itself but walked some of the paths, very quiet and enjoyable. Two deer come over and investigated my ropes Saturday morning."
