  • Wonderful House for a getaway.

"We rented the house for a family gathering, 6 adults and two children. The location was beautiful, right on the sound. Watched the tide come in and out, the seals that went by, the sunset. We cooked our meals in, enjoyed the deck and large dining area. Beds were comfortable. Pictures of the house and yard are accurate. Played golf at Salish Cliffs, about 30 minutes from the house. An enjoyable weekend by all. I would rent it again."

  • Another fabulous stay at Harrison Modern

"We stayed in the Mad Men suite in May '16 so when it was time for a Seattle trip again we knew Harrison Modern was the place to go. This time we stayed in the South Pacific suite and was not disappointed. The kitchen was stocked with all the necessary equipment including a blender and large stock pot for cooking our fresh crabs. The suite has a deck with a great view of the city. Since it was Christmas, the city landscape was spectacular with all the glitter and glitz. We were within walking distance of several delicious restaurants. For other adventures, we used Uber, the Link, and busses - so easy to move around the city. Although some of the other units were booked we could not hear any of our neighbors. Wonderful place, highly recommended. Will be staying here again!"

  • Gorgeous location, commodious quarters, terrific host

"The wedding of our son and his girlfriend brought together 10 members of our two families for nearly a week; the Hansville house was an exceptional fit for our needs. The bride and groom had the elegant master suite on the top floor and the other four couples each had their own space. The chef's kitchen accommodated a real professional chef who catered the wedding. The magical moment itself occurred on the beach, down a short path from the house, while the generous lawn allowed easy placement of tables and seating for more than 60, as well as a buffet and bar area. We spent many enjoyable hours soaking in the fabulous views of the Olympics to our west and Mt. Rainier to our east from the spacious deck. The home is comfortable, super clean, and thoughtfully decorated. Holly Smith was a delightful and helpful host. For nearly a year, she answered myriad questions about how to organize a wedding from afar and she connected us with reliable vendors and local providers. We were in heaven during our six days there and all 10 of us agreed that it would be the perfect location for another family get together. Thank you, Holly!"

  • A great weekend getaway

"Stayed at Lagoma lodge for our anniversary weekend in March, it was blustery and rainy but we had a great time! The manager was helpful and checkin and out was a breeze. The house was like stepping back in time to your grandparent's vacation home. Cute, clean, cozy and full of history. We had a great time hanging out on the comfortable couches with the fire going and cooking Sunday breakfast in the updated kitchen. The views were amazing and the beach access cannot be beat. We brought our golden retriever and he loved running around in circles on the lawn and chasing his tennis ball that I threw from the front porch. Langley is a short drive away, and the market in Clinton had everything we needed."
