  • Cozy, fun, charming getaway.

"What a great rental! We were up for my son's gymnastics meet, and with three teens, we don't fit in a standard hotel room any more. This gave us much needed elbow room and a place to chill before and after the competition. We made a long weekend out of our trip and we're able to explore the area a bit. The home is clean, cozy, and stocked with all kinds of family fun. We took advantage of the board games and foosball table. Our host greated us upon our arrival and offered tips for getting around the lake area, very helpful. Would recommend this rental to others!"

  • The view of the Owl's Nest from Mt. Rainier is spectacular!

"I started this review by reading others that had been posted. I agreed with virtually every one, but looked for the one that dragged the overall rating down to 4.9. It used the word "perfect." Some judges just won't give a 5.0. For all others, it is hard to think of a negative point. I will adopt, but not copy, what people have unanimously said about the House and Pam. Suffice it to say that we average 7 weeks a year here. When we left yesterday (,January 3, 2017), we had blocked time for March (grandkids' birthday), July (other grandkid's birthday), and November (Thanksgiving). Each time we come for family visits, we walk in like greeting an old friend. It has everything and we know where everything is. Not only that, but Pam keeps adding or updating things--this year a brand new coffee pot; last year a new TV system; COMING Spring 2017, a central AC system. Pam does not just ask if you like Starbuck's--she asks what blend you want (Pike's Place) so it is ready for the first morning. Some people don't know that Seattle in summer weather is pretty much like San Diego. Easy to get to Point Townsend for a whale-watching cruise or up to Vancouver and British Columbia (great for people who don't prefer Tijuana). And Seattle is a wonderful destination trip, even without grandkids there."

  • Beautiful, comfortable home with gorgeous views!

"The home was the perfect size, with plenty of room to spread out and relax. Our stay was very comfortable, and the house was beautiful--clean, cozy, and well equipped with everything you might need. The huge windows allowed us to enjoy the view, the beds were comfortable, and the beach was private and literally just steps from the deck. There were tons of DVD's and games, although we didn't end up watching TV. It's about a 7 minute drive into Langley, and the house is tucked on a little side road that's very private. We would definitely recommend this home and would stay here again."
