  • lovely home close to our daughter's wedding venue

"We stayed at the Hollywood House for 5 nights in June; it was 5 minutes from our daughter's wedding venue and was just lovely. The house is open, peaceful and was well equipted. We had the girls in for their make up and hair before the wedding. It would be a great place to bring bikes or to explore the area. The owners were available and helpful in directing us to shop etc. We ate one night at the Purple Cafe and it was good. Great wine tasting nearby.."

  • Better than home!!

"We stayed at this location during a business trip for meetings in the area. It was such a great place we invited family over for an afternoon BBQ on Father's Day weekend. It is spacious, has two murphy beds and a couch fold-out bed besides the bedroom, a beautiful kitchen and spacious outdoor patio with a large grill. The view is beautiful and the home is easily accessible. We may make this our go-to place for all visits to the Seattle-Tacoma area. The hosts were gracious and accommodating in every way!"

  • Comfy and cute with stunning views!

"Our stay at Hagen Farm was phenomenal! Barb was more than accommodating and let us tour the barns to show the kids the baby pigs and lambs. We stayed in both houses and they are very well accommodated...we had everything we needed! The grounds were very well manicured and perfect for our family stay. We loved being greeted by the cows each morning. Absolutely loved the old farmhouse feel in both houses. The original Tinker Toys were an additional hit for the adults! I highly recommend a stay here and will definitely book another family trip here in the future!"

  • Cozy Cottage on the water

"This is our fifth stay on Vashon and our second stay at Clam Cove. Clam Cove is definitely our favorite with its three tiers of lovely outdoor space for relaxing or entertaining. You can enjoy your morning coffee on the upper deck, have dinner on the middeck and a glass of wine by the fire on the lower patio at the water's edge, all with beautiful views of the sound and local wildlife. During our stay we saw humming birds, deer, a pair of eagles, seals, otters and one evening we were entertained by a whale! Both the indoor dining area and living room have expansive views of the water where you can enjoy watching the ferry come and go even on rainy days. The living room is stocked with a generous compliment of books, music and some games for quiet relaxation. The cottage is located on the quiet side of the island but just steps from the Tacoma ferry. You are about a 10 minute drive from Burton Hamlet and Quartermaster Harbor where you can rent kayaks for an afternoon, 15 minutes from the famous Minglement coffee roaster and grocery and 20 minutes from downtown Vashon which boasts some wonderful little restaurants. You can also explore Maury Island and visit the lighthouse at Robinson Point, also no more than 20 minutes away. Seattle ferries are on the north end of the island for anyone wanting a day in the beautiful city of Seattle. We very much enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to staying again next year."
