  • Great house in great location.

"This house was perfect for us. We watched the 4th of July fireworks in the bay from the great picture window. Another plus was how close downtown Coupville is. Totally walkable. Major plus. The bed was very comfortable. Just a very lovely fun home to stay in. I would suggest perfect for a couple and maybe one more adult or child. The owner's very quickly responded to any questions or requests we had. Will definitely stay there again. Tom & Cathy Eglin"

  • Beautiful, comfortable and peaceful!

"We stayed at this property for our son's wedding which was located in the area. The house is beautifully decorated, it is so comfortable and has every amenity that you can want. The lake makes for a wonderful, peaceful and beautiful setting that makes for a perfect family get away."

  • Absolutely amazing!

"The cabin was a wonderful retreat for our family. It is both homely and elegant. Situated by the river and with a view of Mt Si it is the kind of place you can easily wander on nearby trials or sit in the evenings by the fire. Just a delight!"

  • Big group, worked out well

"We had 20 people (including one baby and one teenager), and I had concerns whether the place would be big enough. The owner allowed us to pitch a tent outside, but it turned out not to be necessary. There were plenty of fold-out beds and three large family-sized rooms that could serve as bedrooms (as well as huge walk-in closets that could fit mattresses,... but we didn't need them). Moving one table from one of the rooms allowed us to create an eating space that fit us all comfortably. The baby ate in a baby chair which the owner dug up somewhere -- highly appreciated! The beach is very long (I did not discover where it ends). There are two access routes: one close and somewhat challenging and the other a short walk away and relatively easy but still not accessible to those with difficulties with stairs. One of us is wheelchair-bound. She was able to visit the house but not stay there. Another of us (95 years old) had no problems with the house, though she didn't make it to the beach. Easy parking for four cars, and six or seven cars are quite possible. Interactions with the owner were all pleasant and productive."
