  • Cozy cottage with great views

"Loved our stay here. Wonderful views of Puget Sound from the back deck and a quick walk to the Indianola dock and country store & deli. Kitchen very well equipped, comfortable beds , nice fireplace and even a Xmas tree for the holidays. Jana was an exceptional host, responding quickly to e mails and even accommodated us for an early arrival. If my son wasn't moving to nearby Kingston. I would definitely stay here again."

  • highly recommended!

"This house is magical. It's got unobstructed views of water and mountains and cityscape from both downstairs and upstairs. We particularly loved having views from both of the bedrooms. The house is extremely well stocked -- tea and coffee in the pantry, full kitchen supplies, guidebooks, multiple televisions (largely unused -- so much else to do), and even an umbrella for this silly Californian who forgot one. Katherine was lovely to work with -- very responsive and flexible. I will absolutely stay here again on my next trip to Bainbridge."

  • Great Time at Thorndyke Lodge

"We had a great time at the Thorndyke lodge, We traveled from Iowa to spend the Christmas holidays with family in Washington. We enjoyed spending time at the lodge and were blown away by the cabin and views the lodge provided. This is a great place to stay if you want to get away form it all. Tonya was great to work with, there was a little hick up when we got to the property, but she took care of us. Thank you Tonya! All in all a great place, on a fantastic location. You wont be disappointed with the Thorndyke Lodge. Cant wait to come back."

  • A Port Orchard Gem

"This little treasure is located in one of the most scenic locations on the Puget Sound. Unobstructed waterfront views are rare with any hotel or b&b arrangement, not so here. City lights of Seattle at night, and panoramic glory in the daytime, gives this unit a draw that's unique. This single wide vintage mobile home presents a private, homey feel. All of the amenities, full kitchen, cozy and quiet bedroom/bath, and a living room with picture window looking out to the water. Next door was my gracious hostess, who was there and available to assist if anything came up, but not doting. I was up on my own from CA visiting family in the area, and I could not have stayed at a more delightful spot. Clean, well-appointed, warm, and peaceful. Five stars, well-deserved!"
