  • A West Seattle Gem

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place was perfect for my wife and I for a long weekend getaway. You can immediately tell that the owner has paid very close attention to every detail in decorating this place and has provided everything you can possibly need. The location is great; I like the quaint feel of West Seattle (you won't feel like a tourist), but you are also close to Downtown Seattle if you want to access all the tourist things. If you don't want to go out to Downtown, you still have great restaurants and shops right in West Seattle (at the Junction). I would also highly recommend a day trip to Vashon Island, which is only 15 min away from West Seattle via an easy ferry ride."

  • Beautiful setting!

"We reserved this house for three days to put us close to a wedding in Port Gamble. 5 adults and 2 small children had more than enough room. The large yard worked perfectly for the young kids to run around barefoot. We made the climb down to the beach at low tide and harvested a dinner of oysters one night. Quite an adventure! Fortunately, the weather was perfect for the three days. Easy to find, as long as you follow Cathy's instructions! Very conveniently located to an Albertson's grocery store and coffee shops. We will definite try this again!!"

  • A family reunion for 15

"A farm house it once was, but it proved to be a three story, six bedroom, nicely modernized and maintained home on a large, grassy lot, fully equipped for a reunion of our now spread out family of three generations. Across a very quiet Maxwelton Road from the beach, with glorious sunsets and a fire pit we gathered and lingered around in to the night. A wide variety of activities are a short walk away: baseball, basketball, volleyball, a playground and, of course, walks along the beach. "Town" (Langley) is a 15 minute drive away. We had little worry about the youngest among us, six ranging from one and a half to 12 years: the area is sparsely populated (less so on the weekends), the road is not well traveled and the very low speed limits are well respected. The home has two laundry rooms and 2 kitchens (as well as a Weber and a gas grill, with all they require at hand). It all made for very comfortable living and was perfect for us. We all hope for a repeat, soon."

  • Beautiful House, Beautiful Views

"From the booking to the stay, everything about this process was easy and comfortable. If you are looking for a place to stay in the Hood Canal area, I highly recommend this rental. Myself and 4 friends stayed at this house while celebrating a friend's wedding in Port Gamble. The house is beautiful with clean and spacious rooms throughout. The best part of the house is hanging out on the deck and enjoying the views of the mountains and water."
