  • Wonderful river getaway with our kids.

"Enjoyed the fishing, the hot tubbing, home cooked meals and hot tub while visiting Washington from our home in the southwest. Photographing and painting the mountain sunrise was tremendous. Can't wait to return."

  • Perfect place for a family vacation

"Beautiful vacation home with everything you can possibly need! It offers you something that is better than the picture and the description in the listing. The owners, Joe and Beth, are kind, meticulous, and generous. The beautiful house is sitting in the middle of a large garden that has many trees, including blackberry trees from which you can pick blackberries and eat them. From the spacious front deck, you can see the Puget Sound while having bbq you cooked using the gas grill on it. Kitchen is well stocked, including a bottle of desert wine. The location is perfect too. Ferry from Mukilteo to Whidbey Island is 2 minutes away. The Japanese Gulch trail is 30 seconds away. Quite a few restaurants and groceries are nearby. There are many interesting places within a day trip range, including San Juan Islands and Deception Pass. My wife and I liked this place so much that we came back to stay here for a couple more weeks after staying here for a week a short while ago. We will definitely come back to stay here next time we are on a vacation in the Seattle area."

  • Great weekend off the grid.

"Property was great but wish there was a flushing toilet and not just compost. Note that you'll need a discover pass for the lake to use the canoe. If it's warm weather, bring an extra fan with you. Bed was comfortable and all other creature comforts were provided and appreciated. Loved the Netflix and wifi availability . No cell cell service"

  • Quaint Cabin on Cottage Lake

"A big thank you for welcoming me and my family to the cabin. My son and his family of 5 live close by and they were always stopping in and joining us at the cabin. We had a house full of family fun. We definitely had the blessing of the homeowners to use the water crafts but we were so busy with the grandchildren extracurricular activities, we didn't have time. I would definitely stay here again. My stay may be a little different from the normal cabin rental. My whole goal was to be close to the family for the short time we were in Woodinville. We were able to walk the grandkids home from school and have them stay overnight. The grounds were impeccabley kept. I just wish I had more time to enjoy them. Maybe I will in a future visit."
