  • Great location to wineries!

"It was my husband's birthday weekend so we decided to "get away" for a few days. Upon entering the Hollywood Hill Guest House, we felt immediately at home and relaxed in this beautifully furnished two bedroom home. The owners even had a bottle of wine with a nice, welcoming note waiting for us. The house would also be perfect for two adult couples since it has similar sized bedrooms sharing a large, well appointed bathroom including another half bath off the living room. The home isn't large but the feeling is spacious and the appliances are all top of the line. The pros: Very clear directions for gaining access to home and better than expected proximity to Woodinville's downtown Hollywood district. The neighborhood is quiet, upscale, and peaceful. I enjoyed cooking in the modern kitchen while being able to converse with husband in the living room while he watched sports from the large flat screen. Only a few cons: The beds were a little more firm than we are used to and if you plan to cook/grill at all, you may need to bring or purchase condiment & spice basics such as oil, ketchup, oregano. This won't prevent us from coming back in spring and/or summer for another visit. We had a truly enjoyable time in Woodinville and this guest-house-bungalow made the experience even better than we expected."

  • Cosy, comfortable cabin in the woods.

"Just finished a short stay in this property. It was exactly like I expected from the photos, with the exception on one extra small loveseat in the living room (which made it just a bit crowded.) Otherwise, it was very clean and comfortable. The location is perfect - privacy plus proximity to ferry and the rest of Whidbey Island. The loft is accessed by quite steep stairs, and would be unsuitable for the very young or very old. Our 28 year old son thought it was fine, though the head room was a slight problem when he forgot to duck in the corners. The kitchen really is fully equipped. We have stayed in vacation rentals which are stripped of any spices, condiments, etc. between renters. I can see taking out perishable foods, but mustard?? This one is not like that. We brought our own spices, but I could have made do with what was there."

  • Indianola Delight

"Henderson Guest House is comfy with eclectic, interesting furnishings and just right for a home away from home. It fits right in with the rural, beachy Indianola setting. Beach access is nearby and even a few places have no steps, but that takes a bit of discovery skill. All in all a great place to stay."

  • Delightful, cozy retreat

"What a joy to enter into the world created by Tom and Bruce in their cabin by the sound. Perfectly appointed, pleasing to the eye, complete with readable books, hummingbird feeder, comfortable outdoor seating, and netflix should it come to that! Water views are everywhere, and the choice of outdoor spots from which to observe the sea creatures, birds and the ferry abound. We did not want to leave and can't wait for the next visit when we hope to stay longer."
