  • Heavenly Haven

"What a lovely, comfortable home right on the bay with a spectacular view of Mt. Rainier from the kitchen, dining & living rooms, as well as the master bedroom! It has super comfortable living room furniture, great gas fireplace, cozy fleece throws and a spacious area to visit, read, doze or just take in the beautiful outdoors as you fix a meal or dine at the table overlooking the water. We just loved the fact that we could step out the sliding glass doors onto a patio that is a few feet from the water's edge. Each morning we woke up to the tide being in & the water right there lapping on our shoreline! Later in the day as the tide receded, we could walk out and get a whole different perspective of the bay area. Every evening we took advantage of their delightful theater room & their large TV screen to watch our favorite shows. They also have 4 dozen DVDs to choose from or Netflix so the movie choices are endless! The owners, Teresa & Michael, have gone out of their way to make sure their visitors have a complete information binder that they have filled with brochures showing the restaurants, shops & variety of activities available on Camano Island. There is a fabulous coffeehouse with wonderful hot/cold drinks, fabulous pastries & great gifts to browse & buy! We also enjoyed the numerous antiques & vintage shops in Stanwood and along the highway to Livingston Bay! We really loved our 3 day stay there & highly recommend it for a perfect get-a-way destination! My husband & I have already booked another visit this spring and plan on bringing our grandkids who will have a great time exploring the beach, digging in the sand and climbing on the logs. If it gets warm enough, we will take them out into the bay in the peddle boat which will be a new & exciting activity for them! We are looking forward to enjoying many more vacations there with family, friends & grandkids!! Thanks Teresa & Michael for making us feel so welcomed! Mary B."

  • Perfect Holiday

"We rented this absolutely lovely home for a Christmas holiday on Whidbey Island and we couldn't have asked for much more - other than perhaps a few more sunny days as the sunrises were magnificant. We arrived on December 23rd and were welcomed by the fire place being left on for us by the morning cleaning crew. The home is well appointed as aptly described in other reviews and completely comfortable with pretty much everything we needed. Debra checked in with us to make sure that all was well which we appreciated and we're hoping to come back again in the summer months which should be even more extraordinary a time to visit! Trust the previous reviews and don't hesitate to reserve your next stay on Whidbey Island at Maple Cove. Mary Baroni & Michael Vitiello, Seattle, WA"
