  • Beautiful House and scenery.

"We loved the House and Location. The House was well equipped with lots of kitchen utensils. Eric Wyatt provided excellent service ensuring that I am well prepared for the trip. The wifi was very weak and stopped working altogether on our 1st evening but that forced out to disconnect and enjoy the company and play."

  • Beautiful way to explore the ocean

"The property was fabulous for our family, kids and friends. 2 adults 6 kids ranging 14 to 20. The house had lots of room and beautiful views. The downstairs was very functional with a separate bar from the kitchen, and the kitchen was big enough to hold many cooks. Upstairs was a bit eclectic with the way the bedrooms were laid out. I wish there was one master with an en-suite, but all bathrooms were shared. We made out just fine. We were able to get everything we needed from Vashon, which is 10min away. Good wine and produce etc. The Burton coffee stand is worth the 10min walk and makes the best Chai tea latte I have ever had! We stayed a week and it was like going back in time. Be prepared to slow your pace to about half when you reach the island. Zoo is walking distance on Tacoma side, and a day in Seattle was fun. Otherwise time exploring the island filled our days. Shout out to Erin at Vashon Watersports which is right around the corner from the house for making our family Kayak trip a memory for all. Thanks to Alecia the owner of the property who was very responsive and answered any questions we had. I would stay again."

  • Welcoming, warm, open-design new home, the most hospitable, friendly owner, & VASHON

"Dr. S. began communicating with us before we left and was helpful, kind, and friendly. We found the house to be in even better condition than it appeared in the photos. The photos can't show how lovely this home and its surroundings are. Unfortunately, photos cannot convey the water view. The house is new. It is welcoming and delightfully warm. It has an open-design with a clean, gentle European tone. The garden was available to us as were the fresh fruits growing around the home. The lavender bushes were bountiful and smelled heavenly. The yard and gardens were relaxing and the view lush. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need to cook any meal with a wonderful gas stove and ovens...Grill and hammock to watch the grill on the deck. Outside fire pit was, comfortable, red lawn chairs surround the pit. Basketball goal and basketballs...too many things to do...too little time. Dr. S./Leo is truly the most hospitable, friendly owner we have rented from and he seemed genuinely happy to meet us, willing to help us with anything we needed, etc. At the end of our trip, I inadvertently left my phone. He immediately mailed it to me. Vashon is truly a treasure...a wonderful get away. Hiking trails were excellent and we'll used. Restaurants were great. Seattle is minutes away. Really, anything you might want to do off-island is an easy, convenient ferry ride away. This rental location is an ideal vacation spot if you want to get away and stay away for awhile or if you would like to use it as a "vacation headquarters" as you make day-trips visiting different locations throughout Washington. It was island living at its best...Washington-state-style!"

  • We loved this place!

"This was a family birthday getaway for eight people and this place was everything we wanted it to be. The view was spectacular even when there was rain and clouds and the house has so many water facing windows that you are rarely without a view. We had a seven year old with us who loved everything about this place. There are so many places inside and out to explore in this unique house. The living room is a great hanging out space and there is a very cozy tv/reading room for those who want to watch. The four bathrooms make getting eight people ready for the day an easy task and there are tons of towels. The kitchen is very well equipped so there is no need to bring any utensils or pans unless it is very specialized. This was a winter stay but I can only imagine how spectacular this place would be in summer. We hope to return."
