  • We would have changed the locks to stay forever! :)

"Fran was beyond a delight - her communication was direct, efficient, courteous and fun. All expectations of the property were spot on and honestly exceeded. The home is comfortable, chic, serves it's purpose just fine and the gas fireplace adds great charm. All amenities were provided and nothing out of the norm was missing. The entire West side of the home features remarkable huge windows that provide million dollar views of the water and mountains. The highlight was the hot tub: Both day time and evening star gazing from the cozy water was simply bliss. All in all, we were beyond pleased and truly hope to return again to stay here - five stars for sure!!"

  • Nice getaway from the city

"An easy drive and ferry ride from Seattle, this cozy cottage is welcoming with a nice view of the water and Olympics on the far side. The well-equipped kitchen is handy for preparing meals or snacks. Both kitchen and bathroom are well-stocked with supplies and towels. The TV has a good range of channels. The beds are comfortable. I'd be happy to return to this cottage for another visit."

  • quaint, cozy cottage

"We had a nice stay here, enjoying the privacy and quiet. It's a great location for day-trips around the island, and we visited a lot of parks and forts during our stay. The cottage is quirky, as many others have mentioned, but nothing that detracted from our stay. I'm 6'2", and i never bumped my head. it's mostly the front door, which is small even for small people, but if you just duck there, the rest is fine. The bedroom is beautiful and modern, with a very nice king-size bed. We enjoyed walking around the property, and the outdoors. Looking at the stars from the hot-tub was also nice. We had to wait a day before the water was warm enough though, since it was the middle of winter, and the water was a bit greenish, but I'm sure they addressed that after our stay... If you come in winter, you'll have to leave the gas fireplace on most of the time to keep it warm. But it was nice and cozy sitting by the fire. Also, if below-freezing temperatures are expected, be sure to leave a faucet trickling a bit all the time so that the pipes don't freeze outside. We did not know this, and so the pipes froze and we had no water for the last two days of our stay. But Nancy and George were helpful over the phone. If you're uptight and not prepared to deal with life, then maybe a 4-star hotel in some big city is more your thing. But if you're looking for a getaway, and are chill people, this is a great place. I would come back."
