  • Amazing Sunsets!!!

"Tucked away in the "One Hundred Acre Woods" this house sits right on the beach and is truly perfect for all ages! The sunsets are AMAZING. The fire pit sits right up off the beach and is angled just right to watch the beach, sunsets, and dogs running along the waterside. The hot tub reminded us a wine barrel, so of course we jumped right in while drinking our wine! ;) Deck was perfect, hot tub was awesome (even the kids loved it!), volleyball was fun, and we even partook in using the little dingy boat. We celebrated my step-dad's 60th birthday - we had a total of 13 people: 8 adults, 3 kiddos (ages 10 & 7), 2 toddlers (14 & 18 months), and one very happy dog! Everyone fit perfectly and we had zero complaints! Well.... that's not true. The kids complained that they had a hard time making sand castles since the sand was a bit different from what they're use to, but they still attempted about 80 sand castles and they perfected the moat and seashell collecting, so the adults were happy. ;) 5 "bedrooms" total: three upstairs, one downstairs, and a den. I put bedrooms in quotes because the den is not technically a bedroom, but it should be considered one! It is away from the living room and the kitchen (where everyone hangs out), has an awesome mattress inside the couch, and has shutting doors! It is a nice big room with plenty of privacy and space. One bedroom with a queen sized bed downstairs with a private bathroom. Three bedrooms upstairs: One master bedroom (with a little bed underneath the window, so a little kid could sleep there!) with an AWESOME deck and telescope, another bedroom had 3 twin sized beds (perfect for kids -- not really adult sized), and the last bedroom had 2 queen sized beds. My husband, our baby, and my sister shared this room and it was perfect. ONE bathroom with a shower upstairs, ONE bathroom with a shower downstairs (this is the private bathroom to the bedroom), and ONE half bathroom downstairs. LOTS of room. Living room was huge, dining room table was big, kitchen is big with lots of counter space too. I went running every single day -- lots of places to go run. Just start running and turn either left or right onto Mutiny Bay road and you won't be disappointed. Deer, HILLS, waterfront, bunnies, and lots of beautiful scenery. We ate at: Patrons Mexican Food (good mango margaritas!), Charmers Bistro (highly recommend!), and Freeland Cafe (yummy mussels!). LOVED THE HOUSE AND THE OWNERS!"

  • Fantastic weekend getaway!

"Our first VRBO, and noted that it didn't have the 'book w/ confidence' stamp, however the owners were extremely quick to respond to questions, provided everything we needed and more, and created just the weekend getaway we were looking for. Other commitments kept us from meeting Fran & Thom, but that didn't hurt the trip at all. Located near the water and roughly north/south center of the island, we found everything to be easily accessible. Water views, sun sets, and hummingbirds that approached the deck were fantastic. Room, hot tub, etc. were all clean. As a novice, I might have benefited from instructions for the hot tub and fireplace, but we managed! Would recommend, especially during the spring special!"

  • Gorgeous, romantic getaway

"I had the pleasure of staying in Bells Beach Cottage the night before my wedding at Fireseed Catering, as well as on my wedding night. The cottage was absolutely perfect for both nights. The first night, I felt safe and incredibly comfortable in a fluffy king size bed all to myself! The huge windows right across from the bed allowed me to enjoy watching the sun rise over the water on my wedding morning: an experience I'll never forget! And of course on our wedding night, the cottage was the perfect private, romantic getaway we both needed after a long day of celebrating with friends and family. My husband and I are already planning to return to the cottage later this fall for a long weekend. We absolutely love it and highly recommend it!"

  • Romantic and Magical

"My husband and I stayed at the Whidbey Island Beach House for the Labor Day weekend. We found the cozy cabin to be very romantic with the perfect setting for enjoying a glass of wine, watching the boats pass by and relaxing to the sound of the waves and loons while reminiscing about our almost thirty years of marriage. Mysteriously, the setting reminded us why we fell in love thirty years ago. Truly, you must visit this home to enjoy its magic. I was very impressed with the artistic touches in the cabin and the perfect construction which provided water views from every room, including the window between the kitchen and bedroom through to the lanai which allowed for watching Whidbey Island waterfront life while preparing the evening meal for my beloved. Bravo Sherry, and thank you very much for allowing us to experience and enjoy your lovely home."
