  • Comfortable, ideal getaway

"My husband and I enjoyed our two-night stay at Cedar Moon Cottage. The cabin was cozy, comfortable and convenient. It was better than I had expected and definitely larger. We brought our nine-year-old dog with us and soon after we arrived, we took him to the off-leash dog beach. He had so much fun swimming, running and retrieving his ball that his hips were bothering him afterwards. We cleaned him up, returned to the cottage, and let him sleep on his little bed while we went out to a lovely dinner in Langley. If our stay had been longer we may have taken advantage of the amenities they have in the kitchen and also the fire and the board games. Overall it was a charming place and we would like to return again sometime. My husband and I were celebrating our 20th anniversary and this was a lovely and convenient place to stay and be able to enjoy the nearby sites."

  • Most tranquil place on the planet

"This was our first trip to Whidbey Island and we took some old friends from the East Coast with us who had never been to WA. All four of us could not get over how beautiful this place is. The house is amazing. You feel right at home as soon as you walk in. The views are breathtaking. We saw a few herons, an eagle, sea lions (or maybe they were otters). There was a berry farm up the road and a whiskey distillery I highly recommend. The town of Langley is close by and is very charming. My favorite part was sitting on the deck and looking out over the bay with my cup of tea. One morning a deer walked right up to the deck! We also took a trip to Ebey's Landing. Eric was super responsive prior to our trip had tons of great suggestions for us. It may possibly be the best vacation of my life. We will DEFINITELY be coming back. We did not want to leave. Bring some flip flops or shoes for the beach because there are a lot of sharp clam shells and rocks."

  • The Beach House

"That's what we call this charming getaway on Admiral's Cove - The Beach House. We stayed there for 10 days surrounding Thanksgiving in 2015, again in December 2015 while exploring options on the island, and for the month of January 2016. The house is very comfortable and has everything you need to live there. There are 3 bedrooms which accommodated us all when children and grandchildren came for a few days. While sitting in the living room or dining room you can watch the changing weather and seagulls, or freighters and naval aircraft carriers heading to ports beyond. The house is very close to the Keystone ferry which takes you to Port Townsend ( delightful day trip). It's also a great place to walk with parks at both ends of the street (one with a pool and playground equipment and the other with great nature scenes and a spot where you can fish from the shore). I'm giving it 5 stars because this home provides a great place to NOT be busy, but also close enough to explore the beautiful island. It is somewhat dated and not perfect...but that's like most of us, right? I hope you go and make wonderful memories!"

  • Just what we hoped for! Seashell House

"House is steps from its own shoreline. Low tide walks for shells, seals in the bay, lots of birds, even an eagle! Great sunsets. Upstairs bedroom has incredible view of bay, as does the living area on the main floor. Kids and parents had a relaxed and fun time here. Recommend to anyone seeking a quiet island getaway! Wish we could have stayed twice as long at least. Owner provided a good value well described. Want to come back here."
