"Oh my gosh, first of all the owners are so nice! The cabin is so very special and relaxing. Very clean - beautiful wood. The beach is endless. I parked my car and there was no reason to get back in until until check out. Breakfast lunch and dinner on the beach. Long walks. Staring at the water. Rest. Repeat!! The only problem was re-entry into the real world! :). Thank you so much John and Kelly!!"

  • Wow, beautiful and warm!

"4 couples and my caterer stayed on the property and there was so much room. It was great to have the cottage living area to hang out in while my caterer was cooking up a storm in the amazing and well stocked kitchen in the main house. She said she was cooking on her fantasy stove and oven! The area is breath taking and even though we had some rain and wind, the gas fireplace keeps the main area warm and toasty. We were treated to wind surfers doing stunts on the lagoon during one windy afternoon, it was astounding. So we all loved it, Betty was great to work with, there were no unreasonable cleaning requests ( just strip your beds and take out the trash) upon vacating the property. WE highly recommend this house."

  • Perfect for our family of 12!

"We feel very fortunate to have found this wonderful vacation rental for our end-of-summer family get-away. As a family of eight adults and four children under the age of five, we were in need of a place that would allow us enough space to accommodate a variety of needs. We were also hoping to find a spot on the beach. This rental provided us with all of that and more. With five bedrooms and a separate bunk room, there were enough beds to accommodate each of the four couples, while the children were quite excited about the opportunity to sleep together in the bunk room with three bunk beds. The layout of the house was perfect with a playroom of toys for the kids to play with while the adults rooted on the Seahawks on one of the two tvs. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare and enjoy meals together. The weather was perfect and allowed us to spend a lot of our time outside on the wonderful, large deck and grass area. The beach area was ideal with a wonderful area to explore when the tide was out and easy access for the canoes we brought with us when the tide was in. There were three hammocks which the children loved. As to the immediate area, we found it ideal for our purposes. The children brought riding toys with them which, with supervision, they rode to the Iverson Spit Waterfront Preserve located at the end of the paved road. There is a large, sandy, beach area there and some short hiking trails behind for further exploration. As might be apparent, we had a great time on this vacation. Matt and Emily were easy to work with and responded in a very timely manner to any questions we had. I would definitely recommend this beach house to anyone looking for a fun get-away."

  • A great weekend getaway

"Stayed at Lagoma lodge for our anniversary weekend in March, it was blustery and rainy but we had a great time! The manager was helpful and checkin and out was a breeze. The house was like stepping back in time to your grandparent's vacation home. Cute, clean, cozy and full of history. We had a great time hanging out on the comfortable couches with the fire going and cooking Sunday breakfast in the updated kitchen. The views were amazing and the beach access cannot be beat. We brought our golden retriever and he loved running around in circles on the lawn and chasing his tennis ball that I threw from the front porch. Langley is a short drive away, and the market in Clinton had everything we needed."
