  • Amazing Sunsets!!!

"Tucked away in the "One Hundred Acre Woods" this house sits right on the beach and is truly perfect for all ages! The sunsets are AMAZING. The fire pit sits right up off the beach and is angled just right to watch the beach, sunsets, and dogs running along the waterside. The hot tub reminded us a wine barrel, so of course we jumped right in while drinking our wine! ;) Deck was perfect, hot tub was awesome (even the kids loved it!), volleyball was fun, and we even partook in using the little dingy boat. We celebrated my step-dad's 60th birthday - we had a total of 13 people: 8 adults, 3 kiddos (ages 10 & 7), 2 toddlers (14 & 18 months), and one very happy dog! Everyone fit perfectly and we had zero complaints! Well.... that's not true. The kids complained that they had a hard time making sand castles since the sand was a bit different from what they're use to, but they still attempted about 80 sand castles and they perfected the moat and seashell collecting, so the adults were happy. ;) 5 "bedrooms" total: three upstairs, one downstairs, and a den. I put bedrooms in quotes because the den is not technically a bedroom, but it should be considered one! It is away from the living room and the kitchen (where everyone hangs out), has an awesome mattress inside the couch, and has shutting doors! It is a nice big room with plenty of privacy and space. One bedroom with a queen sized bed downstairs with a private bathroom. Three bedrooms upstairs: One master bedroom (with a little bed underneath the window, so a little kid could sleep there!) with an AWESOME deck and telescope, another bedroom had 3 twin sized beds (perfect for kids -- not really adult sized), and the last bedroom had 2 queen sized beds. My husband, our baby, and my sister shared this room and it was perfect. ONE bathroom with a shower upstairs, ONE bathroom with a shower downstairs (this is the private bathroom to the bedroom), and ONE half bathroom downstairs. LOTS of room. Living room was huge, dining room table was big, kitchen is big with lots of counter space too. I went running every single day -- lots of places to go run. Just start running and turn either left or right onto Mutiny Bay road and you won't be disappointed. Deer, HILLS, waterfront, bunnies, and lots of beautiful scenery. We ate at: Patrons Mexican Food (good mango margaritas!), Charmers Bistro (highly recommend!), and Freeland Cafe (yummy mussels!). LOVED THE HOUSE AND THE OWNERS!"

  • Very good.

"The Gladwin Cabin was a great place for our family's long weekend getaway. The log cabin, though an old structure with a single bathroom, is charming, essentially well cared for & equipped. The owners, Ali and Lance, were gracious hosts & responsive to the needs of our party, which included two toddlers & our family dog. The property, which is located directly on the canal, has a three foot concrete wall separating beach area from the backyard that was a bonus with our group. We enjoyed the access to nearby playground, the ability to walk to the state park & exploring the wonders of the shore."

  • This rental exceeded our expectations.

"This was the first time we rented a property instead of staying at a hotel/motel on our vacation to Port Orchard to visit relatives. The feeling we had right from the beginning was that we were home, even if for only several days, and immediately felt the freedom and relaxation of being in our own place. Everything we needed, except food, was provided in ample supply. The hot tub was especially nice and was the perfect touch to a long day. The beds were very comfortable, as was the living room furniture to sit and visit or watch TV. We enjoyed the large dining room table which accomadated everyone with plenty of elbow room. The water view from the back deck is something we are not use to and was very picturesque. The ferry terminal at Southworth was very close and made the to and from the airport that much easier. We found it easy to get to other locations during our stay with plenty of restaurant choices to choose from. All in all, we very much enjoyed our stay and look forward to our next visit."

  • Beautiful house, with great views.

"Lovely house, with great views and really quiet, just what we wanted as we live in the city. Loads of space with a big kitchen, great for cooking. There was a problem with the BBQ which Sue solved pretty quickly. The views are amazing, the house is near the edge of a cliff, might not be good with small children. There is a telescope in the house which was such a treat to look at everything out on the bay. We loved this house, and are already planning our next trip!"
