  • Best experience ever

"This was a clean, and beautiful place. Worth every penny. Loved the view, and I could tell they care about the people that stay there. Super cozy too. This is definitely worth a 5 star rating! I highly recommend this condo!"

  • Private, comfortable, great view and great features! Can't wait to come back!

"It was just me and my fiancée for the 4th of July weekend. We have stayed in dozens of VRBO rentals, and this was by far one of our top favorites! Pros: -Kitchen Kitchen came fully equipped, lots of different seasonings and spices, pots and pans, even baking items. All we had to buy were the groceries and olive oil! Fridge is huge! -Hot Tub Perfect location. Great view of the water all times day or night. Mostly nobody can see you however there is a neighbor semi-close in the backyard so if they are coming or going they can see the deck. Was heavenly having Whidbey's fireworks going off laying in the hot tub. -Privacy We did not hear from nor see the owners once. Correspondence by email was excellent. It was very nice to be able to fully relax in their beautiful home whIle still maintaining complete privacy. There is one house behind the backyard but we only physically saw 2 people when we were there. Heard voices though. Still very private! -Lots of natural lighting and windows -Jetted tub in master bath spacious. Fiancée is 6'1" and fit comfortably. I am 5'8" and could nearly lay down. -Game room in garage is AMAZING!!!!! Perfect addition. Cons: -Small (ish) bedrooms The master bedroom is very decently sized, however the 2 side rooms are a little on the smaller side. The queen beds take up most of the room, but it is necessary to keep the queen size. Perfect for children however if it's 2 adults it's a tight squeeze. Nothing they can do about this of course, but if you come with other adult guests or 2 other couples then they might be a little cramped. -No TV in master bedroom We understand many people try to leave TV behind, however we don't have one so it's nice to watch TV in bed on vacation. If there was a TV in the master bedroom, the bedroom would be perfect. That was our ONLY issue with it! Updated TVS around wouldn't hurt. Also, the cable is basic, very limited channels (however their movie library is awesome and the wifi worked great! -Needs King Bed in Master Room! -Weak shower Being on a septic tank I'm assuming has something to do with this. If nothing can be done so be it, however the rainfall style showerhead just didn't have enough power for us. If nothing can be done then it's not the end of the world :] Overall very pleased and made for a great fourth of July vacation for us. Quick Tip - Limited food availability, STOCK UP ON GROCERIES! Not wheelchair accessible, lots of steps outside and a few inside. We WILL be back"

  • Driftwood beachtastic!

"We had a WONDERFUL 3 night stay here at Salmon Run. We had just gotten back from a 7-day Alaskan cruise and this was the best way to get away from the cruise crowds. From the beach, we did see "our ship" cruising back north again Saturday evening, which was pretty funny for us. This cozy, comfortable cabin was perfect for our family of four. The beds were all very comfortable. It was well stocked with everything that we needed. We enjoyed playing some games and watched a couple movies from the DVD "library." I especially loved the old-school feel of the cabin - updated with just the right balance for beachin' it, but not so fancy that you were afraid you'd mess up something. Our boys adored the rock beach and found tons of little beach crabs. There were also baby birds chirping in the bird house by the front door/garage door. We enjoyed seeing the mama keep busy feeding them. We explored Coupeville, Fort Casey, and Port Townsend. We had delicious Penn Cove mussels at the Front Street Grill. We'd definitely stay here again and hope to return. ~ A Colorado family with ties to the Northwest"
