  • Memorial weekend family gathering

"We just spent 3 nights at Del Mar Pointe and it was great to have space for 10 adults, 3 children and a dog! Warren was so nice to work with, the Kuerig coffee machine stopped working and he dropped off a new one within hours. The Dining room table accommodated all of us and we spent most of our time gathered around it when we were in the house. With 2 full bathrooms and a half there was never a line up! The kitchen was equipped with every appliance & utensil we needed, we did most of our cooking on the BBQ. When I first rented the property it was to bring our son a wheelchair bound Iraq Veteran, he got sick and couldn't come, we would not have been able to maneuver his very large wheelchair into the bedroom with the 2 beds nor the one across the hall from it, he uses a hoyer lift for transfers. So if you have a wheelchair, the master bedroom and bedroom in the front are more accessible. The only suggestion I would make to Warren is to replace the mattress & box springs in the master bedroom, it squeaked every time we moved and was not very comfortable. But that was a minor issue and we would definitely rent it again, also thank you for the lovely bottle of wine, what a nice arrival gift!"

  • Spectacular views!

"We had never been to the Seattle area and just happened upon Gig Harbor. It was definitely the right choice! What a sweet town filled with fun shops and restaurants. We especially enjoyed breakfast at The Devoted Kiss down by the harbor, along with a concert and art street fair. Reading and eating on the deck was a treat. And, we made some delicious cobbler from the fresh blackberries in the yard. The cottage was perfect for the two of us and was stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Pat was extremely friendly and accommodating before and during our trip. If you are looking for a quiet place to relax and wind down, the High Cottage is your place!"
