  • Wow! What a Gem

"This house was a perfect fit for our family of 4, including two kids, 9 and 11. The view is beyond words! I could sit all day in the coffee nook and soak it in. We arrived to a tray of freshly baked cinnamon rolls and breakfast muffins and couldn't have been more delighted. The house is thoughtfully decorated, comfortable, very clean, and has a nicely stocked kitchen. It is also a kayaker's dream! We came with 4 kayaks, and entry into the water was simple. We explored Case Inlet, Vaughn Bay, and Rocky Bay, and the kids were really able to hone their skills. The wildlife was fantastic. The yard and beach kept the kids occupied for hours. I would highly recommend this rental for an adventure or just a quiet getaway. I look forward to coming back."

  • Spectacular views!

"We had never been to the Seattle area and just happened upon Gig Harbor. It was definitely the right choice! What a sweet town filled with fun shops and restaurants. We especially enjoyed breakfast at The Devoted Kiss down by the harbor, along with a concert and art street fair. Reading and eating on the deck was a treat. And, we made some delicious cobbler from the fresh blackberries in the yard. The cottage was perfect for the two of us and was stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Pat was extremely friendly and accommodating before and during our trip. If you are looking for a quiet place to relax and wind down, the High Cottage is your place!"

  • Perfect get-away cabin

"We recently spent three nights at Gone Fishin' Cabin near Gig Harbor. We were there for a wedding, so we didn't have time to enjoy the outdoor features as much as we'd have liked. We hope to return and make the most of the water, the two-tier patio, the fire pit, the hammock and the unexplored play house during a future visit. The kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils and pans we needed. I had overlooked the washer and dryer when I read the property description, so finding them was a big plus. The location was lovely and quite quiet the weekend we were there. The owners made check-in and check-out easy. I would definitely recommend it to others."
