  • Convenient, comfortable getaway

"The host was very responsive to my questions prior to booking and very welcoming and gracious during our stay. We were looking for a quick weekend getaway from Seattle and this was the perfect spot. The studio is decorated nicely, very comfortable and is surprisingly functional for light to moderate cooking. We especially liked the dedicated space near the water where we used the fire pit a couple of nights and even tried kayaking. The studio is in a great location, convenient to stores and restaurants but still feels like you're away from it all."

  • Well equipped, comfortable, and clean home

"This clean, spacious home had everything we needed for a relaxing stay with grandma, young children, and our pup. Loved that it didn't have too many knick knacks (because of the kids), yet was tastefully decorated with midcentury furniture. Kitchen had everything we needed, and the beds were very comfortable. No parks within walking distance that we noticed, but there is plenty to do within a short drive. Definitely recommend!"

  • Beautiful views from an amazing house!

"We have tried a few different houses in the Gig Harbor area and this house is hands down the best by far! We spent almost 2 weeks at the beach house with our 3 adults kids. Great place for a family reunion. The owners are more than helpful and have thought of everything you would need for a home away from home. The views are amazing of Mt. Rainer and Puget Sound. Enjoyed walks on the beach during low tide, the sea life and watching the sunrises. The beds were very comfortable and the whole was decorated so beautifully. Even though there are a lot of things to do in the area, we could've just stayed at the beach house the whole time! Thank you for sharing your house!"

  • Spectacular views!

"We had never been to the Seattle area and just happened upon Gig Harbor. It was definitely the right choice! What a sweet town filled with fun shops and restaurants. We especially enjoyed breakfast at The Devoted Kiss down by the harbor, along with a concert and art street fair. Reading and eating on the deck was a treat. And, we made some delicious cobbler from the fresh blackberries in the yard. The cottage was perfect for the two of us and was stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Pat was extremely friendly and accommodating before and during our trip. If you are looking for a quiet place to relax and wind down, the High Cottage is your place!"
