  • Amazing, perfect, highly recommended

"Where to begin? Whatever I say here will not be enough praise for this beautiful property which is really a magnificent, inviting home the owners have chosen to share. It is a gift to all who choose to come. There is so much more to this magical place than can ever be adequately conveyed in a written word. If you want to travel and feel like you have never left the comfort of your own home but have instead landed in a homey, gorgeous place dropped from heaven - come here. Everything about our visit to Fernbrook (including the hosts) left us awestruck. The photos give you just a glimpse of the magic you will experience, it is resplendent in its beauty and way beyond what you will expect to experience in ambience. One of a kind experience in the Pacific Northwest!"

  • More than we hoped for...

"It's an annual tradition for my partner and I to head out of the city over Christmas, to escape for a few days and enjoy the peace and quiet of someplace in rural Washington. This year we wanted to find a place with a hot tub within our budget -- and booked Linda and Greg's place. It was more than we hoped for. The apartment was spacious and the best part was it was totally stocked. Totally. Like Christmas again, only with food and chocolate. We spent our evenings in the hot tub, over looking Hood Canal, after venturing out in the day time to the eastern edge of the Olympic range. This area is so beautiful, the air smells so good, and Pebble Beach Place is a perfect springboard for outdoor activity. Book this place!!"

  • Wonderful place to escape and enjoy friends

"So a group of us Millennial's (6) went to Shep's Castle to celebrate birthdays. This place had everything we needed for a weekend getaway and although some reviews said it was small, we found it had ample space for our needs. Cabin was nicely furnished, including wood for the fireplace which we really appreciated this as it was raining when we arrived and the fire took the edge off. We walked the beach when the rain subsided as the natural beauty found here was replenishing. We found ourselves playing board games and listening to the rain. Some of us were able to get a wifi signal but honestly most of us are of the age that had all of us been able to connect, we probably wouldn't have 'connected', so it was perfect. This was a chunk of change for us as we (the friends who paid) don't make a ton of money, but it was SO worth it!! We had a great time cooking, laughing, eating and chilling and actually talking to one another. Would highly recommend this place."

  • Wonderful House for a getaway.

"We rented the house for a family gathering, 6 adults and two children. The location was beautiful, right on the sound. Watched the tide come in and out, the seals that went by, the sunset. We cooked our meals in, enjoyed the deck and large dining area. Beds were comfortable. Pictures of the house and yard are accurate. Played golf at Salish Cliffs, about 30 minutes from the house. An enjoyable weekend by all. I would rent it again."
