"My wife and I were looking for a woodsy place to stay on the water and experience the northwest at its fullest in just a few days for our ten year anniversary. The Hideaway was perfect!
I can say that the write up and description is 100% accurate. Within the first hour, we saw sea otters, gray harbor seals, and a whale spout in the distance as the sun went down!! The next morning when the tide went out, starfish of every color on the banks.
Being from the other side of the country, we found ourselves just looking at the water for hours. Just incredible.
Extremely private, there was no one around for miles, and at the same time, the house is very easy to find.
The house itself is beautiful and clean on the inside, all updated and the beds are super comfortable.
Lastly, if you're an oyster lover, a memory that will last you a lifetime is being able to walk out at low tide and collect your own! Build a fire and roast them outside. Just amazing!!
We would recommend The Hideaway to anyone and will definitely return."
